Dan shared this rare 4×4 Eagle Sundancer from AMC. The seller will sell whole or in parts. Here’s more about them from Jalopnik.
“PARTS: 1982 AMC Eagle Sundancer for parts B3242 – 004 – (Riverdale)
This is an ULTRA uncommon, some would say rare, vehicle. My research discovered that probably just under 200 models were built (about one or two conversions a week) between 1981-82 on both the Concord and Eagle models. We would love to sell this entire vehicle to a collector or restoration person, but alas if necessary we will parts this vehicle out. Engine runs, we started the car, but seriously it is a straight 6 (4.0L) engine, they really don’t fail.

For the price, a person can get a real jeep.
“Selling a custom built Willys Jeep look a like. Whole body was handmade, narrowed Jeep grille, frame is a 1962 military Mule. 4 wheel steer, hydro stat drive, forward/reverse, 16hp Briggs V twin engine, runs good and fires right up, has a choke ran into the cab, 12v system, working headlights and tail lights and siren. Has misc ammo cans, boxes, shovel, extinguisher, etc. Pretty cool little rig. Add a mirror, blinkers and triangle and drive it around. It’s not fast by any means(around 10mph) but very unique, well built, not a hack job. Perfect for parades, tooling around the campsite, whatever. This does not have a title, it’s a homebuilt unit.
It does have a small hydraulic leak underneath the body under the driver seat. Just don’t have the time to fix it. Could just be a fitting or seal. It fires right up and runs great, just drips oil a bit. No trades, cash only. $4200. Located south of Springfield IL in Virden.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000.
This is different.
“1986 CJ10 (diesel) TUG converted to wagon
The tug was extended to wagon. Specs with a 57 willys Jeep bed. Titled as a 57 jeep
All that needs to be done is replace fuel filters and the injector needs to be cleaned because of bad gas. Engine works.
Asking $5,000 or all reasonable offers.”
John forwarded this interesting Russian video. My Russian isn’t too good these days, but I still enjoyed the video. Some interesting Ford variants were built for the military.
UPDATE: Listed as a tug, this is more likely a modified CJ-5.
“Possibly one of the rarest Jeep CJ5 of the 70s
Although I have slightly modified the seat and put a different set of wheels I have not seen another one like it.
A total blast to drive! This Jeep was born as an airport tug or as a special vehicle that was used to pull and park airplanes in the 70s
This belonged to a small airport for commercial flights around the Inland Empire county
This is the only one known to make it out of there alive
I believe the airport commissioned Jeep to make 4 Jeep TUGS to be built
3 of them were dismantlement once the airport was closed down.

This is an interesting vehicle.
“Rare US Army Audio/Visual support vehicle. 1967 Jeep 2 Door Panel. Runs and drives well. Straight 6(232), freshly rebuilt transmission(3-on-the-tree) with a brand new clutch. 4 wheel drive less front drive line. Very unique rig…just need to focus on my Mustang project, wife requests fewer vehicles…this is the one that has to go. Comes with original Equipment Log Book by US Government. Willy’s Keiser Jeep…a true piece of history…needs restoration.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5900. Still not sure what it is.
“We are not quite sure what to call this vehicle. It probably started out as a Willys Americar, then was transformed into it’s present shape by a Cal Poly welding professor (or so the story goes). It has a 4-cylinder flathead engine that turns freely and a stick shift transmission. Notice the custom dash in the pics. There is a small trunk with a spare on the back. Still has the black license plates, so we can assume that it was driven on the highway at some point in it’s life. Would make a real cool run-about or ranch vehicle. Has the original hubcaps. Will need lots of TLC to get it back on the road, but what a hoot – friends will love it. We are certain that it is the only one of it’s kind in the world. I am William of bidslo.com and you can find all sorts of other fantastical vehicles on our website. Have a great day.”
Marty spotted this truck. There’s at least $250 of value here.
“63 jeep truck built by Willys does not run has the straight 6 with manual the LR brake is locked up needs to be winched onto a trailer has a solid roll bar good truck to turn into something. To many projects this one has to go“

Glenn spotted these funky Cushman’s for sale.
“Here is an ULTRA RARE barn find. “Two” 1957 Cushman Mailster Mail Carts and “One” Dec./1958 Cushman Mailster Mail Cart. All “Three” Carts are 80% to 98% complete.
These Cushman Mailsters were delivered to Lompoc Ca. Post Office in 1957 and late Dec. 1958 and were in service till 1965, when delivered to Sunnyvale CA. Post Office where they continued their service till retirement.
These Carts along with 47 others then went up for auction where all 50 Carts were purchased to one person who then stored till date/now.
These Carts have the single cylinder “Husky” engines, that spin freely, with the 3 speed trans.
They will/would need full restoration. These will be sold with a “Bill Of Sale”
“The “RED” Cart “IS NOT” included in this sale”
Possible trade for pre 1975 Ford, Chevy, Mopar, Willys Coupe or other of Value. Cash in or out $3400.00 OBO”
Glenn spotted this rare Munga in good shape, though I can’t attest to whether it is original or not.
“The only one in the U.S., a hybrid German Border Patrol Jeep made by the predecessor of AUDI [DKW Auto Union] in the late 50’s, Has a newly rebuilt VW air cooled engine with manual trans, big Military type tires and runs great….especially in parades and is a winner in car shows. Need room in my collector car garage so am letting go this special one of a kind. Registered in NJ as a antique ’68 VW and MUNGA model.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $18,000
Glenn forwarded this ad. Not many of these around in the states. I believe the proper name for this is an MK2/3 British Ferret Armored Scout Car. This may be missing the turret on top. Here’s an example of one with a turret.: http://www.track-kickers.com/images/mkferret23-main.jpg
“selling my British scout car runs and drives perfect no rust contact6 me only if you are interested in buying for 18.000”
Dan spotted this truck. It is a Copart auction with a current bid of $1650.
UPDATE: Was $10,400. **SOLD**

Thanks to Blaine for spotting this good looking Model 90 for sale. What’s an Empire Tractor?
“Empire tractors were only built for a few years after WWII.
The drivetrain of these tractors was the Willys Jeep 4×4 which were available at that time.
The engine, transmission, transfer case, rearend, radiator, steering column and wheel are all Willys.
The operator platform of the tractor is surplus navy ship decking.
This tractor does not have the original Willys engine, but instead has a flat head Jeep engine with a counterbalanced crankshaft. The electrical system has also been updated to 12v instead of the original 6v system.
The engine, transmission, and transfer case were all rebuilt a few years ago. The engine runs great and idles very smoothly.
The tractor can easily do 20mph on the road and if the rear tires were balanced it would go faster.
This tractor would be great for someone wanting to do one of the antique tractor drives that various tractor clubs offer.
There are less than 500 Empire tractors in the USA, known to the Empire Tractor Club.
(oh…. also included with the tractor for the buyer would be all the Empire Tractor Club newsletters that I have)”
Marty spotted this crazy looking thing.
“I have for sale a home built street legal buggy thing that looks like an old military willys jeep. It has a FULL drivetrain, suspension, engine, transmission, dash, heater and electronics out of a 1978 Subaru brat! Does not run currently (I got it that way)! I was going to get it going but I’ve moved on to something else. It will need to be trailered or delivered for the right price. It’s all there and the top is in great shape! Engine turns over smooth by hand but that’s as far as I got with it. It does have a clean wa title and yes it s street legal!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4500.
Here’s an odd one.
“This is the neatest Jeep out there (except the original ones). Needs blinkers and orange triangle and will be street legal in many small town’s. This is one painted the flat army green. No vin #, it is not titles. Please see pic’s and if you are serious give me a call. Will not ship so don’t ask. No scams please.”
