Here’s a GPW that comes with plenty of extras and a tall price tag. Lots of pics.

“Up for sale is a rare and authentic 1944 FORD WILLYS MB 44 with MATCHING TRAILER. This clean and complete example was owned by a serious WWII buff and recovered from dry storage after his death . It has undergone a mechanical restoration by a vintage car specialist and is fully operational and roadworthy. This jeep is unique in that many authentic accessories are included with it, such as radios, antennas, and various fluid canisters. The matching trailer was packed with spare parts and period military items that are all included. This collector jeep is truly one of a kind and will ready for any collection, museum or parade run! “I am selling my 1948 CJ2A.  It starts and runs every time.  It is my daily driver.  Has all original running gear (Go devil engine and T90 Trans)

The winning bidder will also receive for FREE the matching 1945? Bantam trailer.  Fully restored to match the jeep.  New top, rims, electrical, tires, tongue box, hitch.

Pros:
Currently registered and insured

All this was done within the last year and a half
Original Carburetor rebuilt
New body (Inner and outer windshield, tailgate, hood, fenders)
Has Willys stamp on all body parts
The whole body was replaced with a new one and coated with POR 15 to make it rust resistant!
The frame was sanded and coated with POR 15.
New Reproduction Wiring Harness

New Glass Bowl Fuel pump
Steering rebuilt (all seals and joints were replaced and or rebuilt)

New full exhaust system
Rebuild heater
New locking center console with New Marine CD Player/ Amp/ and speakers hidden inside console.

Engine was rebuilt about three years ago
Brakes were completely redone by the previous owner and stop really well.
Refurbished Hard top with fully functioning doors with roll up windows.

Cons:
Not much to list here
The paint is relatively new (last 5 months) but it does have a few surface scratches
The transmission does pop out of second every so often when you let off the gas suddenly
The trans has a small leak (about a dime size puddle after driving)
I do have a rebuilt transmission that comes with the jeep, just haven’t had time to put it in, and never had any problems with it.
E-brake works but doesn’t hold as tight as I would like”

This looks like a nice combo.  I think I’ve seen this jeep previously.

“For sale is a combo, restored 1956 Willys CJ-5 jeep and 1966 Bantam civilian 1/4 ton jeep trailer. They were both restored and painted to match just a few years ago, then stored in a building. The jeep has a metal half cab, heater, new upholstry, Ramsey 8,000 lb winch that has never had the cable spooled out, Warn over-drive, original 4 cylinder overhead that runs great, new front hubs, roll bar, small driving lights inside the grill, rack on the back for extra spare tire and handy-man jack and 5 gallon gas can (included). The trailer is a 1966 Bantam 1/4 ton civilain trailer (more rare than the military version), wood racks, spare tire, detachable tool box, and wired to match the jeep. PLUS, this also comes with a full set of mud and snow tires for BOTH the jeep and trailer, already mounted on a full set of spare wheels. I will not split the set up, this is a package deal. Compare the price of this set to a new “Rhino” at close to $11,000, and it makes this jeep and trailer look well worth the price. I have more money invested than the asking price of this jeep and trailer, with the restoration, extra tires and wheels… Clear Oregon titles. These pictures were taken about a week ago. Has a white vinyl top, also has the rear bench seat. The only issue is the brakes, it has a nice high brake pedal but doesn’t stop very good. The trailer is painted to match the jeep. The trailer has a hand brake which works good also. The tires on the Jeep are good. I even have the original 600-16 tires for it”

There were a couple mods to this, but otherwise looks good.

“1944 WILLY’S ARMY JEEP and TRAILER $7000.00 OBO
13 miles on speedo. Restored 20 years ago, very good body. NO RUST in rear tool boxes. Has machine gun mount, flat round spot on floor. 2 front seats with original seat belts, fold down back seat, blackout lights.
Shovel, axe, 5 combat rims, 2 on trailer. Matching trailer with original pintle hitch, support leg and brakes. Has rust hole in trailer floor and someone added a Willys tailgate, bottom of gate is rusted.
Jeep ran fine 10 years, now engine will not turn over. Has been parked under carport.
Owned by same family and brought to America with Scandinavian title, now has Florida title.

“1947 Willy’s CJ2A with Original Bantam trailer model T3-C serial # 6147. This Willy’s was purchased in Wisconsin after a frame off restoration approximately 100 miles ago. Always garaged, orig. tub, no floor rust, 12 volt conversion, solid frame. Engine is fantastic, starts everytime, little/no smoke. After months of winter storage no signs of oil leaks! Extras include a complete CJ2A frame, skid plate windshield canvas, (for transport), transfer case, PTO shifter. This Willy’s needs nothing other than a bath, I will post more pics after I clean her up. Bantam trailer is very cool, primed and ready to paint. Frame is in excellent condition, shackles are great! I think this is the original coupler, (fulton) I have lights and reflectors, as well as the original data plate. The serial numbers on the frame match the Cj2A body.”

Has a cj3a windshield installed, comes with but not installed rollbar assy, sidesteps, no top but a new all weather cover,it has later cj 15 inch wheels and almost new m&s tires (also comes with 5-16 inch jeep wheels), all 4 new springs (mounted on another Jeep but never ran), front hubs, diamond plate rear body covers (not installed) a really nice tow bar and towing lights plus lots of other Jeep parts.”

“This is an old army trailer we have.  Currently there is an old Onan generator bolted inside the bed. I can remove the generator if you aren’t interested in buying that.

One trailer tire is flat. It may hold air when we fill it. This has the rotating pintal hitch.
