Jerk from Sweden shared this strange ad that was posted to Sweden’s version of Craiglist, Blocket. Pay particular attention to the background photobomb in the fourth photo. Jerk added that the truck is an ex firefighter truck with a swedish cabin. Chevy V8 and 700 tranny. The price in dollar is some $8-9000.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was listed at $6750.

UPDATE: Was $5800. **Status Unknown**
(11/30/2013) Looks solid. Has updated motor.
“Price is firm. Starts every time, runs like a top, top speed is about 45 mph with smaller tires, with larger tires 55mph. Great truck. It gets compliments all the time. Also, geared for off road travel….legendary Willy’s! Its a driver not a showroom truck. A few minor issues I feel need to be shared: wiper motor stopped (easy fix); cracked passenger window (functions fine); some fluids seep but at such a slow rate I fill up fluids once a year (check them periodically) and they’re good for the season; speedometer doesn’t work (oil pressure, amp, and temp gauges work) and the original main instrument cluster is in tact but not working…place on east coast will refurbish. It’s a solid truck that is 60 years old!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1400.
Needs some wiring, but sure has potential.
“It runs and drives. Brakes work but I wouldn’t trust them. Needs wired. Gas tank is rusted out. This truck needs work but it’s all there. Clean title in my name. Call me with any Questions.”
UPDATE: **SOLD**. Was “Make Offer”.

Here’s an unusual truck.
“One of the biggest attention getters you will find,….custom built frame, all heavy wall.Rear susp. adj. coilover w/ adj. 4 link.,drum brakes on a GM 6 lug 10 bolt w3;73 ratio…..Front; beam axle, disc. w/ friction shocks & multi-leaf stack.Drives very straight, doesn’t ride bad either! This engine stumps most everyone( except ex military)It is truly unique as engine and 5 speed trans.is a donor from a 2.5 ton personel carrier..,motor is bullit proof_literally_is designed to run on as little as 1 quart of coolant, and start in any weather condition,Being it is a Hercules Ind. military engine it will run on anything petro based…kero,,fuel oil, drain oil veg. oil,and it likes it!!
UPDATE: Was $6000. **Status Unknown**
Here’s a truck updated with a diesel.
“FOR SALE. 1957 Jeep Pickup Willys. Very Clean on top underneath. All over. It has been inside stored for the last ten years. And…. It’s a diesel.!! It has a six cylinder Nissan diesel. I’m not sure what it came out of but it runs really well. It is a 4 speed standard with first gear very low compound range. The 4 wheel drives work too. Warn hubs. The bed is clean.
Looks like the Jeep driven on Mountain Men show.
Asking $6,000. Current tag. Title in our name. We have owned it for the last ten years.
It has a button for the glow plugs. I’ll investigate why it is not working. Currently you have to shoot a bit of starting fluid to get it to fire off. Runs great after that though.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2900
Apparently this was an old fire department truck.
“This 1950 truck was the first Fire truck for the Linwood, Minnesota Fire Department. It Has had a lot of work done to it recently. We had it running about a year ago, so the engine is good.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
This truck includes a set of original ‘summer hubs’ from Warn.
“I just purchased 5 Willys Jeep trucks for a good price with the caveat that they be removed asap. Unfortunately, I only have room to keep one, so I’m thinning the herd, and this truck is by far the most restorable of the bunch. I would keep it but don’t want to butcher this truck with a diesel motor and 5-speed as it is so original and unmolested. Instead I’ll use one of the others that has already been modified. This 1955 truck hasn’t ran in years, and the title is lost so the purchaser will have to deal with DMV.
The odometer says 44,000 miles and based on the condition of the truck, it may be accurate. It has surface rust where the sun has burned the original Julip Green metallic paint, but has never had body work or bad rust. It does have a few minor dings. The bed is straight and rust free, and the tailgate is straight as well. The rear window is broken and the passenger side has a crack. Don’t know about the drivers widow as it is rolled down and I haven’t messed with it. It has the 226 six and appears to be complete with the exception of the air filter. The drivetrain is completely stock-it still has the original wheels and hubs. The floorboards are solid, no rust holes or gaping cuts from poorly done transmission swaps.
It still has the glass running lights and chrome bezels. In the pics some of the original gauges are missing, but I believe that I have them in a box. The original front chrome bumper is decent as well.
I’ve been watching Craigslist for the last five years since buying my 1948 Willys truck, and have seen dozens of Willys trucks come and go. They are not rare, but I’ve only seen a few that were this original and unmolested. The vast majority get beat to death hauling firewood or concrete, or worse, get turned into “extreme” 4x4s…
Update!!! There are four gauges in the dash that are not original. Fairly well done, just not original. The motor does not turn freely. I casually tried to turn it by the belt but it did not turn. If I am reading it correctly, the VIN number indicates that this truck is a 1955. This truck also has a set of vintage Warn “summer hubs” in the original “Warn” box sitting on the original bench seat. Bonus.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $7500.

(05/10/2014) The truck looks good. It is listed as being in Laguna Beach, but it is listed in the Reno Craigslist. Maybe the owner lives in Laguna, but the truck is located in the Reno area?
