UPDATE: It turns out that this one, first listed in 2016, is not the one that popped up for sale in Danvers in 2017 at almost the same price. A closer inspection revealed the latter had different plates and was one year off. So, I’ve updated this post as sold.
“COMING OUT OF WINTER STORAGE SOON . This is a very well preserved and solid unrestored vehicle that appears to have spent most of it’s life in the South. It has new springs, shocks and wiring making it a solid feeling and comfortable driver. The stock 4 cylinder engine is quiet and smooth running. There are chips and scratches in an older repaint, showing natural patina for it’s age.
If you know these vehicles you know there are a number of places they commonly rusted; floors, rockers, tailgate, tailgate hinges and around the rear wheel wells. All these areas are unusually rust free except for a small patch under your heel at the accelerator. Also, there is an unusual rust line in the back just under the roof gutter due to a hole in the gutter. Been assured by two body men this is an easy simple fix. It’s a fun, simple vehicle to tinker with. Continue reading

“I have a 50 willys that I put a 350 into. Fresh motor with 2500 miles on it. I spent more than this on the motor. Never bored truck block with high Nickle content. Four bolt mains. Large cam. Lunati Roller Rockers with 3/8 bolts. Flat top pistons. Edelbroch intake with a Holley mechanical secondary 750 carburetor. With Camel hump heads. 2.02 1.60 valves. MSD ignition and distributor.
I have more into this motor than I am asking. Buy the motor and get a free truck. I started putting the passenger floor into it and haven’t had the time to finish. It needed the rockers replaced, and you know how that goes. you have to cut back until you get good metal. Made custom brackets to put in a rear seat out of a 70’s wagoneer. Mounted a custom seat to the original tracks on the drivers side. re-wired the whole truck. It’s been untouched now for two years. Before it deteriates, I want to pass it on. Continue reading

“This is a really solid, good driving, original 1960 Willys wagon two door maverick edition. And it has been well taken care of over the years and runs and drives really good giving it’s original status. The “super hurricane” flat head straight six engine starts and runs like a top. The drivetrain is solid, it has a manual three speed transmission with an overdrive also referred to as a “brownie gear”four-wheel-drive shifts and works good too. Has no problem starting or getting around even during winter some of the more recent work that has been done to it includes new clutch, new gas tank, new brake lines, new fuel pump, and new battery.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $11,500
The photo sure looks vintage (too bad the new trucks are in the background).
“1956 willys wagon. Chevy 350. T90 3 speed with dana 18 transfer case. Dana 25 up front and dana 44 in back. Dual exhaust. Runs great. Transfer case needs some work. Aside from that, everything functions as it should. Frame is excellent. Body looks good but has some areas that need work. Interior and wood is good. Great buggy that turns heads everywhere it goes. Make an offer”
Has some a faux-wood theme throughout.
“Rolling Artwork Classic – Luzon red, artisan painted faux wood grained body, Willys Overland, 2wd, always garaged. Never seen snow or rain, new paint, new tires, NOS & reproduction chrome, refurbished 1999. F-head 134, 3 speed o/d, 6 volt, good wiring, working brakes, original instruments. Turn signals and seat belts added.
Great looking, fun driving and will maintain 60-65 mph in o/d. Have spare parts, mechanics manual and records. You or your business will get noticed!”
The wagon doesn’t run, but looks fairly solid. Even more interesting, the seller has a bunch of old Dodge trucks for sale, too.

“This Willys is in great shape. 283 purs like a kitten. Has 2 barrel carb. 12volt. Still has point system. Powerglide shifts well. Has dual cylinder master cylinder. Interior is complete. All windows with no cracks. Wiring was redone and everything works. Minus fuel gauge but seems like a poor ground is the issue. Has a minor oil leak and trans leak. Call for more picks.”

Looks like there’s value here.
“I have a nice 1961 Willys Wagon. It is. A nice driver by no means a show car. It has rust in a lot of places but looks so cool. Has a Chevy 6 cylinder with HEI ignition, has a turbo 350 trans and a Ford rear end. It is still on the original frame. Has nice duel exhaust. Rust and drives good. Gets a lot of attention. Interior has been redone and is very nice,no headliner. Needs a new headlight switch . Heater works. Turn signals work. Breaks are good. I also have with it a 1963 Willys Wagon for parts for the 61 or you can go the other way. The 63 is on a blazer frame with a small block in it and the blazer drive train. Very good body but does have rust in some areas”
