Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “For sale is my 1952 Willys Wagon. I have been collecting these parts for years, and come to realization that I never going to complete my project. My loss is your gain. I almost have enough parts to make 2 Willys wagon. My goal was to put a Willys body on a Wagoneer frame. This way I would get the Dana44 front and rear, Power steering, Power brakes and I got a totally rebuilt AMC 401 engine for it (engine sold separately). I easily dropped $7000+ into my project, but I only asking $5000. Compare it to other items on Craigslist or Ebay and you will see. I am trying to sell it as a project rather than individual parts. I am hoping someone else will see my vision and will have more time to complete the project.”

I’m sure I forgetting some other things here.
Glass is all there in good shape. windows roll up and down fine. has original willys heater which works fine. bumpers are in very good shape. all lenses are intact and fine. trim is also all there and in perfect shape.
The truck runs excellent. everything operates the way it should. the engine sounds like a sewing machine, you can barely hear it running.
good tread on tires.
all body is in excellent condition. one issue being is rust in the bottom of the tailgate. you can tell it has been stored indoors most of its life.
Bed wood slats are also in excellent condition.
This truck goes down the road at 55-60 mph no problem.
what it needs is to have the leaf springs re-arched, and maybe a gasket replaced on the gear box. it has a very slow leak. I always check it before it is driven though. and it functions just fine.

“Super Rare 1954 Willys Wagon 4×4. 1 ton axels, locker in the rear, full spool in the front. 39.5 Super Swamper Boggers, 350 crate motor. Hand Pinstriping. Painless wiring was installed this past winter. LED tail lights. New battery. New dual electric fans on the radiator. Gas can mounted on the passenger side and fake gas can/tool box on the driver side. The underside is undercoated. Some rust holes in the body, but it adds to the charm of this rig. The trucks gets looks everywhere I take it! I have it insured and drive it around town a few times a week. It only needs shocks , new passenger glass and passenger front glass to be finished. No tire kickers. No free rides. I hate to sell this monster but I have three other projects that I’m trying to finish. Asking $11,500. And please don’t try to low ball me. I have over $5,000 into the axels, tires and rims. Clean title in hand!!!”
