(09/15/2013) Engine doesn’t run and has other updates.
“1958 willys panel jeep 4×4 project. Does not run. 350 chevy 700r4 auto and I think a 208 transfer case. Dana 44 axles front and rear out of a scout 2. Rancho lift kit. Tinted windows. I have the original bumpers. Has title.
The bad:
The engine has not run in 2 years. Starter died and has a fuel leak between carb and the mechanical fuel pump. It hasn’t been driven in 9 years due to the ring and pinion in the rear axle breaking
there’s no front drive line and the front and rear axle having mismatched gears and there is a leak in the brake system somewhere.”
This looks nice. The seller has plenty to share about this wagon.

“Are you tired of reading the way everybody describes something that they are selling lately? They always say its rare, one of a kind, show ready, mint, old school, prototype, custom, head turner, show stopper etc. How about a VEHICLE that is TRULY all of the above!
You are viewing a TRUE one of a kind 1961 Willys. This is so special, you will never see another one like it. Not in any show or anywhere in the world. Ever! How many people can say that?
Yes, Willys did make a woody. But, they NEVER used real wood. They used a decal. This special 1961 Willys has real solid oak & walnut wood. NOT VENEER. It took over two years in planning, dreaming, drawings, blueprints, and painstaking love to create this masterpiece. An old school master carpenter used old world techniques to hug this beauty with REAL wood. This Willys even has a period correct wooden surfboard rack with canvas tie downs with its original factory sticker! Pulling it ALL TOGETHER is a vintage surfboard and vintage window surf stickers!
This might be worth a look.

“As the pictures show, when i restored the Willy’s it was kept all original with the exception of a 12 volt conversion. I drove it for 2 years before doing a full restoration. I purchased the Willy’s in 1993 from an airplane pilot living in Brookings Oregon, i have driven and owned it since then (20 years). He took meticulous care of it and kept all records of repair. I have original bill of sale and history. It’s a 4 X 4, hi and low range with a factory WARN Overdrive and locking hubs. It has 62K miles total, it was rebuilt at about 45K. Everything works and it drives great.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4200.

If the underside rust is nil, given the motor change and the gutter rot this would be a good candidate for Tour Wagon.
