“I am selling my Willys M38 Jeep that was finished as a MB clone. This 1952 military jeep was built for the Korean war and is a true military jeep, but this one has the MB grille/bucket lights and older style windshield added.
Many new parts. The Willys runs and drives well and is parade ready. No oil leaks to speak of. Maybe one or two drips at the most. I drive this jeep every other day to the store and everybody honks and waves. This is a great jeep for you to have fun with the kids and grandkids as it has all the safety upgrades, such as blinkers, tail lights, seat belts, head lights, black out lights, and horn.
This jeep starts every time winter or summer. 4×4 works as it should. Not perfect, but ready to drive and have fun with. It cruises about 40 mph. The speedometer reads about 8 mph too fast so you’ll think you’re driving 48 mph! Clean Kansas Title.
If you arrange shipping, I can drive it to a local car dealership if needed. Buyer arranges all the shipping and pays the costs. Jeep will not be released until all money is received and cash is in the bank. I am also open to taking a $1,000 down payment and then the rest of the payment on pickup. Throw me a note before buying it out and we can figure it out. – See more at: http://www.warjeeps.com/mjs/sale17/adm011/adm011.html#sthash.9lVRpkBG.dpuf ”

How many of us bought that first project flat fender knowing it would be an easy restoration. After all, they are such simple vehicles, right? Well, David Tracy got an introduction into the hazards of purchasing a “fixer-upper”. He documents some of his trials and tribulations on Jalopnick. It’s a reminder that when picking your first jeep, choose wisely!
