(11/30/2013) Looks solid. Has updated motor.
“Price is firm. Starts every time, runs like a top, top speed is about 45 mph with smaller tires, with larger tires 55mph. Great truck. It gets compliments all the time. Also, geared for off road travel….legendary Willy’s! Its a driver not a showroom truck. A few minor issues I feel need to be shared: wiper motor stopped (easy fix); cracked passenger window (functions fine); some fluids seep but at such a slow rate I fill up fluids once a year (check them periodically) and they’re good for the season; speedometer doesn’t work (oil pressure, amp, and temp gauges work) and the original main instrument cluster is in tact but not working…place on east coast will refurbish. It’s a solid truck that is 60 years old!”

(07/31/2014) Nice jeep. Seller has to sell as son is too tall already to fit behind the wheel.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1400.
Needs some wiring, but sure has potential.
“It runs and drives. Brakes work but I wouldn’t trust them. Needs wired. Gas tank is rusted out. This truck needs work but it’s all there. Clean title in my name. Call me with any Questions.”
It’s a project with a good frame and body, other parts, except for a motor.
“This Jeep is a project that I started about a year ago. I recently inherited another Jeep and do not need this one. This Jeep comes with a brand new body that is still in the shipping crate. It comes with new hood, tailgate, fenders and windshield. This is a late body with all the improvements. This body kit sells for $3749.00. The frame is finished and has all new spring mounts (8), battery tray, front bumper with gussets, rear crossmember with gussets, pedal mount and front shock mounts. This frame has no rust out. All welding is completed. You will not find a better frame. Has 4 new leaf springs. This was a complete Jeep and comes with everything that I have for it except the motor. This Willys has a clear Delaware title in my name. All the hard work is done. This would make a great father and son project or make your old rusty Jeep perfect.”

“1953 WILLYS M38A1 MILITARY JEEP 35,300 MILES VGC
For sale is an original 1953 Willys Military M38A1 Jeep. I obtained this Jeep from the McClure Fire Department in Ohio several years ago. It was occasionally used to plow their parking lot and was stored indoors for the most part. It still has many of the military accoutrements such as the convoy blackout marker lights, H.D. bumpers, waterproof ignition, 24 V. electrical system and illuminated high/low red dash lighting.
UPDATE: **Status unknown** Was on eBay (see comments).
Looks lie a good rig. Seller lots all information in a house fire. I’m wondering if he lost the title, too.
“this rig was recreated by a father and son shop in Oaklahoma and then purchased by me. Had house fire and lost all receipts and info but can provide as much info as I can. everything has been rebuilt and gone through including the wiring as the pics will speak for themselves and the unit only has 4500miles since I bought it. there is a 9inch ford in the rear, ramsey winch, alum diamond tool box, beefed suspension, 33×12.50×15 tires on custom wheels and frt disc brakes. the rear main leak is common as it has a rope seal and is available from Napa, this condition probably due to not very much use. I have asked my friend in Montana to list this for me as I have it stored near him 75miles south of missoula mt. Payment will be $500 in his paypal account and the balance by check or funds transfered to an escrow account at my bank. When the check clears both banks or cash clears then unit can be picked up and delivery is possible in a enclosed trailer for a fee. Thanks for viewing my posting.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $2500.
(06/02/2014) This is only 2WD.
“I have a 1946 willys. I’ve been told it has a 327 crate motor in it I believe combined with a turbo 350. I know it will try and stand on two wheels. It is a two wheel drive it came from Arizona. I was given to me but unfortunately I do not fit in it. The tires are in Excellent shape and are pretty much brand new. I haven’t done a lot of investigation into it. It sits in my brothers garage and is started every once in a while. I’ll do my best to answer any questions but I have not done any of the work to it and or purchase it myself so my knowledge on it is very limited. “
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
Even though the transfer case needs rebuilding, it still may be a good price.
“I’m selling my 1953 Willys jeep. We just don’t go 4 wheeling any more. This jeep has a strong rebuilt 350 engine, over sized radiator, duel under seat fuel tanks, new wiring and fuse block, new gauges, rebuilt transmission, rebuilt front and rear end, storage seat with seat belts in the back, tow hitch, and Warren over drive. The transfer case needs rebuilt due to a baring issue should be an easy fix and maybe $100 in parts. I have a bikini top, radiator cover, and repair manual for it as well. The jeep has a heater, windshield wipers, windshield washer and pump. The heater core was boiled and repaired 2 years ago. I have clean title. Asking 2500 OBO. This jeep is a great rock crawler and does great in the hills.”
UPDATE: **SOLD**. Was “Make Offer”.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7000
It runs and drives.
“Looking to sell my 1963 Willys Wagon. I’ve got too many projects and need to cull the herd. This is a good weekend driver or project vehicle for someone with more time and money than I. Engine and trans runs strong, recently had the carburetor tuned, it runs like a top. It is a 3 speed manual transmission. 4wd and transfer case seem to work without issue. Recently replaced the stock metal fuel tank with a polyurethane tank and new fuel pump. It is a 60 year old vehicle so there are normal issues with a jeep of this age, its not a hot rod, needs tires, and there is some rust around the underside, tailgate and rear wheel well. Considering the age and rarity of finding these vehicles, it is in better shape than most I have found. It looks good, runs, drives and have title in hand, which is better than 90% of the others on the market. Cash only, no trades, no low ballers, want to sell ASAP, but please only reasonable serious offers.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
This includes a plow as well.
“Selling Two 1962 Jeep Willy’s.
One plow and rigging plus two used front fenders.
Prefer to sell as a bundle.
Black Jeep ran strong and plowed great. Went to start it one day and couldn’t get it going.
Don’t have the time and money to invest in diagnosing and fixing the problem.
Red Jeep was bought for parts. Was told by a family member that had owned the jeep previously that the engine was rebuilt.”
Sounds like this has the teraflex gear upgrade in the transfercase. Between that and the front and rear lockers, there’s been some updates to this drivetrain.
“1953 Willy’s cj3b with all original stuff just been beefed up in places such as motor it was rebuilt and bored .30 over along with 3-1 gears in tcase and has 4.27 gears in axles along with lockers front and rear. Has new 2inch over stock leaf springs for total of about 8inch lift. Has 36×12.50×15 swampers and custom built bumpers and roll bar along with stainless fuel cell. Cash only. Text me”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000
