Here’s part of the article:
The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is home to perhaps one of the most appropriate buttons we’ve encountered in the What Does This Button Do? series. Mysterious buttons are rarely spelled out as clearly as the Jeep SRT8’s, or as fun to use.

By spelled out, we mean the whole word, “Launch,” appears on the button to designate the 470-horsepower, all-wheel-drive Jeep SRT8’s Launch Mode. There are no acronyms or guessing with this button. What the button does is also made clearer by the awesome depiction of a drag strip’s starting-line lights, aka a “Christmas tree.”

Here’s an unusual 1954 press photo found by Marc. The driver is Walter Lorch of Willys Motors. The jeep was one of twelve caravan touring through Latin America.

“1948 Willys CJ 2A Complete body off Restoration. Less than 500miles since engine, transmition and tranfercase were rebuilt. Removed all rust by installing new panals as needed. Front and rear end have new seals and brakes. Jeep has been converted to power steering, and 12 volt electrical system. Has canvas and metal tops. Has a costom built roll cage, and front and rear bumpers with swing out tire carrier. New fuel tank. All 5 tires have less than 500 miles. Winch included with an additional $500.”

(11/19/2013) It includes two combat wheels.

“This is a WWII military Jeep trailer manufactured by Bantam in 1945.

It is in very original and complete condition – still in its original Marine Corp colors and markings.

Some rust along front edge where front panel meets the angle iron on front of frame. Some cracks in bed. Has a tailgate modification – but was done with clean cuts straight up and down and real panel still in place for restoration. The best possible tailgate scenario for restoration.

Has all original reflectors, two combat wheels, original lunette set-up, one safety chain, even has one black out light still in place!”
