1954 M-170 Phoenix, AZ $4000

• CATEGORIES: M-170 • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  Still Available

(12/16/2012) This appears solid.  I think this might have been given a camp-style paint job that was then covered with some cheap green spray paint.

“1954 Willys M170 Jeep CJ6

All stock running gear but not sure if everything is original to the jeep. F134 engine, T90 transmission, D18 transfer, dana 25 front and dana 44 rear. Replaced all fluids, battery, motor mounts, plugs, wires, steering parts, exhaust parts, master cylinder and fuel pump. No rust and all corners are solid. Very good start to restore or with some work would make a nice trail rig. Starts right away but I don’t know much about the drive train. Was not running when I got it but after replacing all the parts above it runs and drives. I bought it to fix up but I don’t have the time. PLEASE do some research on this jeep or know what it is before calling. This would not be a good daily driver. It is almost 60 years old and only goes about 50mph.

The M170 is a very rare jeep. They only made around 4000 of them from 1953 to 1964. These were originally used as front line ambulances or radio trucks. This was the CJ6 before they started making them. It was originally 24volt but has been switched to 12.

4,000 OBO or trade
Please call or text Charlie at 602-79one*two6one1”

1948 CJ-2A Chippewa Falls, WI **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  Was $1400. **SOLD**

(10/19/2012) This may be worth a look. I love the looks of those Ford Flathead motors.

“I have a 1948 Willys CJ-2a that is in decent condition. The body is pretty sound, there are a few rusty spots here and there. The main area of concern is a few spots in the front toeboards. If you have the capability to weld, these repairs should be no big deal. Overall this Jeep is very fixable. The master cylinder and slave cylinder need to be rebuilt, and this thing could be drivable.

Someone retrofitted a late model Ford flathead v-8 motor into this thing many years ago. The motor runs excellent, and has 50 pounds of oil pressure. Clear title to the Willys. I can’t tell you anything more than what I wrote here, you’re going to have to assess the vehicle with your own two eyes in person.”

WW2 Couse Navy Trailer Gustine, CA **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: trailer This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.

I don’t know much about these trailers.

” This is a US Navy Military World War 2 Trailer built by Couse Labs for the US Navy. Its hard to read the date plate. It says Spares Trailer, Type CAHT-10284, Department of Ships. Serial number 211 I think. There is a picture of the date plate. We have only seen one restored online, its the only other one we were able to find. I believe its got one “combat rim” on it and one M38A1.Will help load her onto a truck if needed. There is another Combat Rim that will go with her (pictured). The last picture is of a Couse Labs built US Navy Trailer restored.”

1944 Airborne Hand Cart on eBay

• CATEGORIES: trailer This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

I don’t know anything about these, but thought some of you would find it interesting.

“This is a 1944 Omaha Industries M3A4 Hand Cart. Omaha only made around 3600 M3A4’s, making this one of the rarer manufacturers to find.

This cart is very complete- it is only missing the draw bar, as most ones that get found are, and the cover and tow ropes. All these are available as reproductions.

The body is straight and is “barn fresh”, with only light surface rust. A quick clean up and some paint and it will look great. All the proper hardware appears to be there and it looks to be in good shape.

The wheels are intact and the original military marked tires are there. The tires do have damage, but a skilled person may very well to able save them since they are tube type. The damage on both is to the inside so they could be good display tires. In addition I am including a brand new pair of Carlisle tires that are the closest tires available to one of the styles used in WWII, these tires are $100+ alone. This gives the restorer an option of what tires to use.

The original and very hard to find bearing covers are not installed, but are included.”

The seller selling the Navy trailer is also selling this one.

” This is basically a barn find. Its Original and in need or a restoration. Its an American Bantam Cab Company built USMC 1/4 Ton World War 2 trailer. The original data plate with the original serial number is still on it. Serial Number is 65108. Date of delivery is 3-1-45. There is a “combat rim” that goes with it. As you can see by the picture the rim needs work! Personally I think its a great project for someone to enjoy.”

1945 Navy MB Denver, CO **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: MB This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.

This is a project. The seller provides good details for this jeep.

” You are bidding on one of the very last WW II jeeps to be built, a 1945 Willys MB-Navy radio jeep that was delivered to the U.S. Navy on October 10, 1945, nearly 2 months after Japan surrendered on August 15, 1945. This is a non-operable project jeep that needs a complete ground-up restoration. But it offers you the opportunity to own a rare and unusual WW II jeep. Here are some details.

Chassis serial number is MB-459512, which is only 337 jeeps below the highest MB serial listed by Willys, MB-459849 delivered to the U.S. Army in September 1945.

Date of Delivery is 10-10-45, stamped into this jeep’s original Nomenclature Plate on the removable glove box door. This postwar delivery date was due to the additional time Willys needed to install all the special equipment used on Navy radio jeeps.

Model name is “MB-Navy”, stamped into this jeep’s original Nomenclature Plate. This jeep was either one of the last MB-MZ-2 radio jeeps or one of the first MB-Navy Basic radio jeeps. (see more on eBay)”

The price looks good. The pics are very small.

“I have 2 Willy’s jeep’s for sale. One is a ’42 which does not run but can be used for parts or as a project. It has all the running gear, front and rear axle, tranny and t-case, both drive lines, i do not have title for this jeep. 1955 Wagon Lake Forest, IL **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: Willys Wagons This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.

This is a good looking wagon.

“Stunning example of a 1955 Willys Wagon. No expense spared when rebuilding this Willys. 15 thousand in chrome, trim and paint. Rebuilt engine and transmission.

Original, except for the disc brake conversion to the front brakes and the radial tires. Making the Willys about 100% more road worthy.

Started with a rust free Washington State Willys. Removed all the body trim and went to work. Added some trim to the vehicle and sent all the chrome and trim to be de-dinged and replated. Finishing touch and Calco did the work. Painted the vehicle after all metal was checked.

The interior is as it was 60 years ago. Seats have been resewn in part and the wood slats were restained. I had to install a new head liner and visors, just too far gone.
If you lift up the front seat, it looks brand new, untouched from new, just amazing. No radio and still the original 6 Volt system. Original oil bath air cleaner. Both seats.

Everything works as new, 4X4, transmission, engine, lights, brakes, steering, good glass all around, etc.”
