A MJ2A? May be partially disassembled.
“I’m selling a 1948 Willys CJ2A. I picked this up a couple years ago as a project, but it doesn’t look like I’m ever going to get around to working on it. It is painted to look like an MJ2A, but it is a CJ.
This should make someone a fun little project. It was running before I started to dismantle and I used to drive it to the store for fun. Body if fairly solid. Some rust on the undercarriage and some bondo work on the body. Not all original, but it still pretty nice. Has a nice little flat head 4 cylinder in it too. 3 speed manual trans. And lockable hubs via a shifter in the vehicle.
This could easily be modified to be a rock crawler, or taken out as is. Email me if you are a serious bidder only.”

Runs and drives.

This 1946 WILLYS runs and lot drives(has no brakes, so cannot be driven over the road).
Has the original 4 cylinder motor.
The body has been cut on over the years, and mods made.
All original from the dashboard forward.
The frame is rotted at the left rear spring pearch.
The passenger side of the windshield is broken.
Four wheel drive does work.
Other than what’s listed above, I believe everything else is in working order.
HAS A CLEAN AND CLEAR OHIO TITLE!
This Jeep has been used at camp up until this spring when it made the trip home, and has always run good and rides well enough to do normal camp activities. Will not part out at all! “1942 Ford GPW military jeep. This is definitely a project waiting for the next owner to bring her back to life. This jeep has always been in the family, lastly with my father in-law who towed it behind his RV for many years. Sadly, it has seen little use in the last 10 years and with his recent passing, I have been asked to find a new owner. Appears to be original drive train. Many spare parts included. Engine does run but vehicle will need to be trailered away as condition of brakes & drive train is unknown and probably not safe. I don’t know a lot more about its condition but e-mail with any questions and I’ll try my best to answer them. Also, I just trailered the Jeep to my business where it’s more convenient to show. Here’s a very unusual Willys piece.
“WELCOME TO OUR SHORT 5 DAY AUCTION FOR THIS VERY COOL AND SUPER RARE VINTAGE ONE OF A KIND WILLYS JEEP OF TULSA OKLAHOMA OUTSTANDING SALES AWARD LARGE SILVER (PLATE?) TRAY FROM 1950. IT MEASURES 16.25” IN DIAMETER, HAS A GREAT GRAPHIC OF A WILLY’S JEEP TRUCK AND IS MARKED “AWARDED TO TULSA-WILLYS, INC. IN APPRECIATION OF OUTSTANDING SALES PERFORMANCE WILLYS 1950 COMMERCIAL CAR CAMPAIGN W.S. VENN GENERAL SALES MANAGER”. THE DESIGNS ON THE FACE AND EDGES OF THE TRAY ARE VERY ART NOUVEAU AND ORNATE. “You are looking at a 1942 Ford GPW military jeep. Restoration was started over 10 years ago and never completed. Motor, trans, transfer case, and axles have been rebuilt. The body is an aftermarket piece and sits on a very nice straight and rust free frame. Have most parts to complete (some not pictured) and will be included with the sale.”

This may be worth a look. Tranny was stuck in 3rd gear.
“1942 Willies Jeep. This is actually my dad’s jeep and he asked me to sell it. This jeep has sat in the barn for years. It would be great for a collector. The last time I drove it, it only had 3rd gear. This Jeep was displayed at the Tillamook Air Museam.”
I’m guessing it has been a while since this won trophies. Looks like it might have been nice at one time though.
“350ci built Chevy engine. Fulie heads, Edelbrock torker, Holley, fender well headers, Turbo 350, custom Dana 44’s front and rear with 4.27:1 gears. Posi front and rear. Full cage, Deist 5 point harnesses, dual batteries, Ground Hawg tires. Has won many trophies for show. Very fast! Unbeaten off-road.
Now the bad news: the jeep has been siting for several years. Has rust, and occasional glitch in the transfer case (jumps out of gear once in awhile.) I think it is a linkage adjustment problem. Transfer case was rebuilt approx. 50 miles ago. With some TLC, this jeep could be one of the best in the State, as it was 20 years ago. If you are mechanically inclined, and are looking for an awesome project, this may be for you! I have over $20K in this machine. Now it just sits in the yard. Asking $3,800. Would consider trade for small pickup truck.

The has a rear pro, but hard to see it due to the bright pink color of this jeep.
