This has an overdrive, runs and stops. MIght not be a bad price.
“1951 Willys CJ3A. Well hammered/ rusty but runs better than it looks. Has overdrive, good tires and brakes. Driven regular. Hate to sell. Vince 818-371-5377located Mojave,CA”
This is advertised as a ’45, but I see nothing to verify this.
“This Jeep RUNS & DRIVES!!! Needs a charged battery & Gas when you come to look at it. Start button on the floor it was my husbands’s jeep. Only thing it needs is an oil change and a shock stem needs to be welded back on it on drivers side. Other than that needs some touch ups to the seats and a new paint job. (As far as I know) Text Only about this Jeep. I will not answer phone calls, unless I tell you otherwise. 435-219-2878”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
(08/17/2010) “All original except the motor is now a 225. Runs great, has full hard top with doors and all glass along with pto drive to the front koenig winch.”
This looks solid.
“It’s stock except for the engine, which is a rebuilt 4 from a much newer CJ5, which really improves the mpg. It’s in great shape (my opinion, of course), fully licensed and insured, and perfect for an around town joyrider. Everything works except the horn button and the parking brake, but “everything” is a pretty small list.
There’s no radio or turn signals or wipers or top. Those were extra cost options in 1947. I will include a wiper motor and turnsignal switch, also a Willys horn button kit.
Those can be your first projects!!!
Remember, this is a vintage truck, and it drives like one. This is not a car for Martha Stewart fans. This is for the folks who watch Wheeler Dealers and Overhaulin.
I got it because I’m a tinkerer. I love working on old machines. To me, a well spent Saturday would include getting under the hood and messing around with wrenches.
But now, we’re moving, and I won’t have room at the new place.
If you want something that’s fun to drive, and will bring out your inner grease monkey, this is for you. If you’re serious about buying, give me a call and we can take a test drive around my neighborhood, and discuss. I’m located just south of Portland and east of Milwaukie near the intersection of Webster and Thiessen. Give me a call at 5 zero 3 9 zero 8 zero 9 zero zero.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $900.
This might be a franken-jeep, based on the description.
“1947 CJ2A Willy Jeep flat head 4four engine and back half of Wrangler.”
If you just need to push snow, this might be a good option.
“1960 Willys Jeep. Runs great, Hydraulic switchblade plow, skid plates, PTO, fiberglass tub. One owner for the past 20 years.”
UPDATE: **SOLD* Was $2500.

Not too surprisingly, the General George S. Patton Museum, at Fort Knox, Kentucky, has a few jeeps. I read that the museum was supposed to be relocated to Fort Benning, GA, but I don’t know if that happened or not yet.
The two jeeps below are supposed to be part of the museum. If there are others, I didn’t run across any photos.
One unusual model at the museum is a Constabulary Jeep, which was part of the Constabulary Force in Europe following World War 2. You can read more about this Force here.
This picture was taken by Patrick Keenan and posted at warwheels.net, where there are several more photos from different angles.
The museum also has his Division Commander (Major General) jeep. You view more pictures from the warwheels.net site as well.
This stainless flattie has an unusual dash and seats.
“This is a handcrafted Stainless Steel Jeep made in the Philippines! The car was imported into the United States in 1979 by a man named Wesley Carrell.
Wesley was in the military and stationed in the Philippines just after the Vietnam war. While he was there he fell in love with the Stainless steel Jeeps that the locals were crafting. The CJ3 Jeeps left over from the Vietnam war rusted very badly, so the locals started to make stainless steel bodies that wouldn’t rust in their externally humid climate.
Wesley paid $5500 + shipping and taxes in 1979 to bring this Jeep home to Mississippi. Once he had the Jeep home he paid to have the brakes to be converted from mechanical to Hydraulic. He also paid to have a 4 cylinder Ford Pinto engine with automatic transmission installed. The Jeep does come with a soft top, however it is a little old. It has a few tears.
Wesley drove and enjoyed this Jeep until 2003 when he passed away. I bought the Jeep from his sister whom inherited the Jeep. When I bought the Jeep I had every intention of restoring the it, however I have too many project cars and wont be able to put work into the Jeep anytime soon. I just bought a 1970 GTO Judge which will be taking up my spare time.
The body is mounted on a 1959 Willys Jeep frame. The Jeep runs, drives, and stops under its own power. However to will need a tune up or it will possibly need the carburetor rebuilt before it can be driven anywhere.
The Jeep can be driven onto a trailer or car carrier!
This is a once in a lifetime opportunely, don’t let this pass you by! You need this Jeep for your collection! ”
Not much in the description. It has 2/3 1/3 seats.
“Runs good, brakes good, surface rust only”

Update: ****sold**** was listed at $1200.
There are lots of artichokes grown in the Salinas Valley, hence it would not surprise me if some business called itself “Mr. Artichoke”.
“1943 WW2 WILLYS JEEP, 3 SPPED 2&4 WHEEL DRIVE HIGH & LOW, WOULD MAKE A GREAT PROJECT, THE PREVIOUS OWNER WAS MR ARTICHOKE $1200.
No pics provided.
“I have two willys cj2a 4×4 for sale. Both run and are in decent shape, the 1 is an olive drab color and has a roll cage, winch but no top for it or back seat. The other one is green with a home made cab on it, the cab is made of marine plywood and is built solid great for hunting it also has air shocks in the rear. asking 5,000 for both OBO. The olive drab one had all around disc brakes rebuilt, work great. The two jeeps have little 4 cylinders in them 3/speeds.”
The paint job isn’t much, but it does appear to have a rear PTO.
“Jeep is in great shape, 4WD 3 speed w/pto. Everything works.
Make me a decent offer and drive it home today!

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000.

“Jeep f-head engine runs strong. All new brakes, roll bar, and full cab. Located 30 miles north of Tucson).”
No pics provided, but is described as being ‘in pretty good condition’.

“It is complete except for the glass”, claims the seller. Looks like it is missing have the rear body to me.
“Hello, this is a 1946 willy’s army jeep. It is complete except for the glass. Understand that this is a barn find, and has been sitting for 20 plus years. I t is rough but has good parts, for example the hood is in great condition and is worth more than want I want for the whole thing. good bumpers, tailgate, it does include the motor, which is sitting on the back of the bed. please text me at 615-739-8009. if you want you will have to come haul it off. thanks”

(03/01/2012) I can’t tell if the paint is uneven or some type of Cammo.
“Jeep is clean for the year only has little rust on the floor board. Has the flathead in it, everything works on it even the heat. Just put a soft top and Goodyear mtrs on it.”
This looks like a solid body.
“partially rebuilt 1948 willy’s wagon, 2wd. Rebuilt engine, new wiring, new windshield gasket and some upholstery. needs glass, brake job, and various other things. Body is in pretty good shape/ Email me!”
This turns over, but isn’t firing. If it can run, there might be value here.
“I have a 53 millitary wills jeep I am asking 1100. Its not getting fire I have the stuff to fix it but I am tired of messing with it. I also have another motor that runs with all the parts for 400. If interested call or text 254 223 1817. No emails. Obo. Will trade for equal value.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000
(09/28/2011) This is likely a CJ-3B with a modified front clip.
“This jeep is super clean. Brand new tires, brakes, wheel cylinders, exhaust, carpet, back seat, roll bar. Glass is perfect, paint is in pretty good shape. It has a three speed with a twin stick transfer case, ford 4 cylinder motor. It is no speed demon but it drives real nice for what it is. It does have winch that does work, all signals and lights work perfect. It could be a daily driver if you wanted it to. I have a little room in the price but I do not need to give it away,I just don’t get to use it as much as I would like so somebody should take advantage of a nice little jeep. I do not have the ability yet to post pictures, give me a call and I can text them to you. Would consider a trade for a 4 by4four wheeler of equal value.”
