This looks like a late 80s Bobcat racing body with that extra wide rim around the back. However, I don’t think any Bobcat bodies came with stock looking steps. This one is unusual.
“I have a white jeep cj-2a fiberglass tub with the fenders. The brake lights are in and may work. as well as the heater. Body has some minor damage from moving around. As you know, fiberglass is very easy to repair. I’m asking $800.00 obo. . I’m selling to pay for an engine for my xr650l. The only things I’m willing to trade for is another xr650l engine, bike, or a rebuild trade. send me an email or call during the day at nine one four, three one eight, one eight two seven. This thing isn’t perfect, but will dress up that rusted out jeep of yours. And make it lighter.I can email you some pics. I can also deliver it to you within reason.( just help with gas)”
This doesn’t run. This has an unusual spare tire mount.
“Ive got a 1953 jeep willys cj 3b i want to sale or trade, i prefer to trade it for a nice classic mucle car or older classic pickup, worth the same price, the jeep is in excellent condition body wise and interior. Only problem is i cant get it to run, motor may need to be checked, i dont have time and money to get it fixed so i rather sale ir trade, ive looked through resources and found out it running is worth $7,000-8000

Note the top of the headlight bezels. Anyone seen these before? I can’t tell if it is a special bezel or just something attached to the original bezel. Perhaps they are from a different vehicle?
“this 1950 jeep willys is a great find. will need some work but is complete as seen in pictures. should run with a good tune up. has a 4 cylinder motor. may consider delivery in Denver metro area for a reasonable fee.”
UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was listed at $5000.
Robin spotted this ad. As he noted in his email to me, it is fun to read Craiglist if only to discover the strange things people will say in their ads. In this case, neither of us have ever seen someone concerned about altering their jeep into a “Weed spraying rig”.
“53 jeep willys, runs excellent, rebuilt 4 cyl motor, rebuilt transmission. Really neat antique. Will not sell it to you if you want to turn it into a weed spraying rig! Wife says it must go”
No Title.

“1944 Willy’s CJ-2A Jeep. Runs and drives. Has rust, needs work if you’re going to town to show it off. Great for farm, hills, off road or fun. Has ID plate. Don’t have title but you should be able to get one. $1500/obo”

“1957 CJ5 with 60 CJ5 parts vehicle. The 57 is mostly all original, with hardtop and Meyer snow plow. It runs great, drives, needs brakes. The plow works good, I have the cylinders to make it power angle. It has a clean title. The bad: the frame is toast. The body tub is rough. The 60 CJ5 is for parts, I don’t know if it runs or not. The frame is good and it has a usable body. No title. Also I have another hardtop just like the one on the 57 except it has swing open doors vs sliding doors. $1200.00 for everything.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $15,000
(06/07/2012) Ed’s selling his nice CJ-3B.
“Tired of seeing the exhaust system hanging low, you won’t see it on this one. Everything, including the transmission is tucked up tight. Paint job still looks good, has some scratches, but no dents or rust. If your are looking for a vehicle that will turn heads wherever you go this is it.

“I have a 1946cj2a Willys jeep. It is licensed and insured/tagged. I use it in parades and on the farm to move my log splitter. It is not a show car/ I use it and drive it regularly. It is all orginal. I have upgraded to 12 volt and put a electronic distributer (no Points) other than that it is stock. It has a brand new complete rebuilt 12 volt starter. Like new tires. All lights work, all gauges work, no wipers (easy fix) just have not had time. I also have a original hard top that needs to be reworked, it has the doors also. A fresh reworked radiator. Runs good 50 miles per hour uphill down hill or flat land. E-brake works parking and brake lights work. The only thing wrong with this Willys is a leak in one seal on the transmission, I have to add transmission fluid twice a year. If you are interested let me know , might even trade for something? I have owned this jeep around 5 yrs and have a updated title off of the orginal. This jeep is all legal with insurance 10.00 a month with full coverage. E-mail or call 870-213-5332 if no answer leave message and a return phone number, I will call back same day.. I have lots more pics if you wish I can email them to anyone who wants to look. Thanks for looking.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Price was $450.
(04/07/2012) There is some value here.
“willys parts vehicle: rolling chasis. no motor or trans.”
No Updates today. I’m trying to get some writing done.
Here are a couple items you might look at on eBay:
This ad for a Mustang Trailer was originally published by a company out of Bangor, Maine. Though attached to a jeep in the ad, the ad notes you can attach it to a truck, too.
Here’s a reproduction of a PR photo of an experimental CJ-2 jeep pulling a wagon.
UPDATE: **SOLD**
“This is an original, 1942 GPW Ford Jeep. It was built Dec. 21, 1942. This jeep is as complete and rust free as you will ever find. This jeep has always been garaged and has a clear Title.
The Ford GPW were manufactured from 1941 to 1945. These small four-wheel drive utility vehicles are considered the iconic World War II Jeeps
This jeep comes complete with all five combat rims and canvas. There are numerous extra parts, including the original carburetor, 6-volt generator and fire extinguisher. I have converted the lights and alternator to 12 volts for brighter headlights but the jeeps comes with its original regulator, original generator, gauges and tail lights etc …. everything to put it back into 6 volts.”
