This might be a good article. I tried to find the article online, but didn’t have any luck.
“This is an original magazine article carefully removed from COLLECTIBLE AUTOMOBILE magazine. This is a high quality production with high quality paper, without advertising. If you are familiar with this magazine, then you know its quality is considered the best in the industry. This is a 3, 4 or 5 page article under the heading of Collectible Commercial Vehicles.
To determine the approximate length of the article, look at the above photo. If you see 2 sheets it is probably 3 pages long. If you see 3 sheets, it will be probably be 4 pages or maybe 5 pages, and so forth..”
After the papercraft jeep post, I stumpled upon a french website called maquettes-papier that had several different paper jeeps. Unfortunately, my French is a little weak. I believe the jeep below was built from some plans and the jeep below that was custom made.

“well, its a 57 jeep forward control 150, its the first year they made em, iv had this for a couple of years now, was going to be a project but i never got around to it, and now im moving to the city where i cannot have it. the guy i got from had just rebuilt the t-90 transmission and never put it back in and neither did i. its been converted over from the inline four it came with to a small block chevy v8, its a 265 cubic inch small block thats suposedly out of a 55 bel air. but iv never looked up the numbers to verify. the transmission has the adapter to fit the chevy bellhousing so it should bolt right up, i just never got around to it. iv not had to motor running but the guy i got it from said it ran when he started rebuilding the transmission and i know its not seized up. the tires that are on it are ruined from weather cracking, they look good in the pic but trust me theyre not. that pretty much sums it up. im asking $1000 obo”

Wade shared these two photos with me yesterday. He writes, “We were walking a site in Mission Hills of San Diego and saw this jeep at the end of a cul-du-sac in an older house’s driveway. Also is a shot of my nephew and their jeep. Thought it was just a good jeep shot.”
Here is his nephew and their nice looking flattie.
And this is just sad, even for a DJ . . .
HOG spotted a great Willys hubcap thread over at the International Full Size Jeep Association Forum.

For $500 there might be some value here.
“We have a 1960 Willys Jeep CJ-3B. Needs new tub, which I had plans to do but never got around to. This has the much desired F-Head engine. Husband says the underside is in wonderful condition. Hood embossed with the Willys logo. It has been stored in the old barn for years. Not currently running. This one is priced to sell, it’s worth this price in parts alone!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800.
Motor does not run, but the fuel pump is thought to be the problem.
“I have a 1948 willys cj 2a jeep with soft top and soft doors. Does not run at this time! Motor does turn over believe to be fuel pump and i have a new one I’ll give ya. Needs work but body and floor pans are in good shape. I DO HAVE A TITLE. I was told the motor and transmission have been recently rebuild do not know if thats true or not but transmission feels tight. Not perfect but for the money and having a title its worth every penny was going to fix it up and drive it around but decided to start on another project instead. asking $1800 make an offer cash talks”
