(10/27/2011) The seller believes these are CJ-2As, so I suspect they are DJs on CJs.

The title on this is interesting (see bottom). It looks like a nice little rig.
“This 1958 willys pickup is no trailer queen by any means but it gets thumbs up and smiles where ever she goes. I think these little Willys pickups and wagons had classic lines from the day they were built. I use this little truck on a regular basis and it’s proven to a great driver and dependable.
The body and paint work on it is amatuer grade. The cab and doors are solid. The doors shut and open nicely and windows roll effortlessly. There are grinder marks and runs here and there but it is all pretty shinny. The paint on the door jambs and interior are pretty nicely done. The passenger bed side and top right rail is the worst area on the truck. I have considered putting new top rails on the bed sides and doing the outside of the flat sides of the bed in oak to make it look like a woody bed. The floor in the bed is in good shape as is the tailgate. This truck has been in dry country so it’s not a rust bucket.
It has a clean little 250 cu in Chevy straight six in it that looks like it was born there. Like a lot of small block Chevys it will puff a little smoke from the valve guides when you start it. Although a mild engine, it is still nearly double the horse power of the original engine and it is suprizingly quick. With that extra power the Warner overdrive works great. It will run 60 mph with no strain at all. The stearing is tight and it goes straight down the road. The T-90 transmissin shifts quick and easy with no problems of grinding or popping out of gear. Clutch is quite and works like it should. The brakes are ok but they have never been anything to write home about on early Jeeps. With the engine convertion they put in a hanging clutch pedal and the matched it with a firewall mounted brake master cylinder and a hanging brake pedal which got rid of the old typical “squawking” through the floor pedals. It has been converted to 12volts. The speedometer, temp, amp and oil presure gauges work. The gas gauge works but reads 1/4 tank when it’s really empty. It has the millitary style lock out hubs that are precise and easy to use”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.

Engine was completely rebuilt, brakes rebuilt except for master cylinder, body patched to look okay if you don’t look too close. Has full canvas top and snow plow. “This is for a running and registered 1962 Willys Station Wagon. It has a rebuilt 232 amc motor (I have the rebuilders tag) a Weber carb. It has a T18 4spd trans low mileage tires decent seats (I have all 4) wood strips for the rear floor. Extra drivers door and hood. Lots of spare parts. I would be willing to trade for a cj 2, 3a or cj5 running is not that important a good body and frame is.. I’m selling this because I lost interest. I have more experience with cjs so am willing to trade. It could use some body work only bad rust is the drivers door. Needs a paint job.”
This may be worth a look.

“I have a Jeep Willys CJ2A that my grandpa used to have on the farm. It has not been ran or driven in close to 12 years. The engine is there and the transmission still shifts into all but one gear, which I believe is first gear. The body is in good condition for how old the jeep is. This is NOT a running jeep, but a great project jeep. I don’t have the time or money to restore it. My loss is your gain. Email for more questions.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000
(01/03/2011) Some old desert dogs support this old jeep. The spare body looks good and the rollcage looks nice, except for the funky bends of the front loop near the dash.
“47 willys jeep with extra tub and parts”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500
(08/07/2010) This looks plenty stock.
“Willys Jeep, starts and runs good. Has a Buick 225v6, Lots of power, climbs great. Good cond, no rust in tub, rust where spair tire mount was. All orig, but eng.”
If you tried to access eWillys this evening (Tuesday), you likely reached an error screen. I believe my google xml sitemap plugin was causing problems, so I am hoping removing it has fixed the problem. I also removed the mapping program in hopes that will also reduce the heavy resource demands of the site. Hopefully these changes will fix the problem.
Thanks, Dave
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was No Price.
This has plates, but it doesn’t have front running lights, so I’m not sure it is really street legal?

“This is a complete Willys with a clean title that needs TLC. Frame seems to be good. Body is rough at best. Motor turns over, but I have not put anytime into it to get it running. I took this in on a trade, and thought it was in better shape. I do not have time to work on it, so instead of storing I would like to sell. #### SERIOUS INQUIRES ONLY PLEASE DO NOT WASTE MY TIME#### I have priced this to sell so do not try and lowball me, or come and kick the tires.”
