“This is the cutest little machine that I think we have ever restored. It’s a Veep!An all steel Jeep body on a custom tube frame with a ball joint Beetle front endand swing axle rear end with an upright 1600cc VW engine tucked neatly behind the tailgate.
This particular example was built in the 1980’s by Hadley Engineering in California. The car was first owned by a 1980’s child star and was his first car when he got his license. This actor was in the film Cocoon as well as D.A.R.Y.L and a whole host of TV appearances as well.Tired of the Hollywood spotlight, he quit acting and went into photography and has become successful in that path as well. The car went into storage at some point in the 90’s and sat outside in a lot north of Hollywood until we bought it andjumped into the restoration. Instead of restoring it just as it was, it was decided to turn it into a VW poweredversion of the legendary and highly collectible “Jeep Surrey Gala”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000.
Looks interesting.
“RARE FACTORY ORIGINAL uncut 1946 Agrijeep. It is faded, has some dents, sat in the sun, and is not running. Has all the correct original Willys brass plates. Is equiped with an original Willys ( Not Reproduction ) power take off on the rear and an original Willys Capstan winch with the original four bolt roller. The jeep is a barn find. I have the 1960 registration and will give a bill of sale for the vehicle. It has a 1946 winshield which is not the original windshield, but is correct for the jeep, it has a broken glass pane. The original three speed on the column was replaced with a four speed on the floor – it still has the column shifter. The jeep is well used but all original, it was found in a walnut orchard with aprox 30,000 ( on the odometer ) miles. It is complete – it is all there, but I do not know the condition of the engine / transmission. The tires are very faded and sun cracked – the tires appear to be the original tires from 1946. There are some additional parts that go with it, canvas top, doors, etc. I researched this jeep, a jeep like this sold on Ebay for $7,900
I know how much the original jeep accessories are worth ( I have researched the value of the PTO and Capstan Winch – a reproduction winch is $3,250 if you can find one. ) I have looked all over the internet and have not found another original Agrijeep anywhere at any price, other than the one mentioned above – There are plenty of STANDARD 1946 jeeps, most have been modified or cut up a lot. This is a very original and very rare Agrijeep. You won’t find another one.
I was offered $2500 for the original Capstan Winch and $1500 for the PTO. I am asking $4,000 for the jeep and accessories, the price is firm. I have taxes to pay, so have to sell the jeep, otherwise I would keep it. The jeep is sold ” as is, where is “.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay

“1968 Jeep Kaiser M715
4WD/2WD Hi/Low, 24 volt power
230ci 6 cyl. Tornado engine
11,500 original miles
2nd cilvilian owner
This Jeep is not presently running. I believe it only needs a professional timing job to run again. The original engine threw a bearing through the oil pan and a rebuilt engine from Boyce Equipment in Ogden was installed. It was in perfect running order until recently when the distributor power became disconnected and threw out the timing. It turns over and tries to start, but I cannot get the timing right myself. I bought this Jeep from the Groom Creek Fire Department in Prescott, AZ in 2002. It is rust and dent free, straight as an arrow. I have been refinishing it since and the many extras now include:
Newer paint in and out, Rhino lined bed and cab
4.56 differential gears (Higher highway speeds up to 65 mph)
Custom one-piece, powder coated Diamond Racing Rims with Pro-Comp off road tires
PTO Braden winch with Rock Stomper fiber braid rope
62 inch all weather black diamond plate tool box in bed
Newer Canvas top (6 yrs. old)
J-truck bench seat
2 New 12V Die Hard Gold gel batteries (in-line for 24V)
Blackout light, Pioneer tools and straps, Rhino grill, Brush Guard
Hi-Lift jack, heavy duty tow straps
All military manuals, extra parts like a canister-style air filter, extra carb, military siren, military spare tire, some J-truck do-dads.
I am selling my much loved Jeep because I got it when I was single, and now I have a wife and 4 kids, and it isnt really family appropriate. A great ride for a rugged do-it-yourselfer, or a classic 4×4 enthusiast. Turns heads, garners thumbs-ups, and will instantly instill a sense of bad-assedness.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
