“Willys Jeep, model M38A1. She runs but needs quite a bit of body work. Been sitting for a while now and needs batteries but with a little love, this would be a perfect hunting partner. I do not have the specifics but I think it was built in 1953, plus or minus a couple of years.”
This looks like a good price.

(07/27/2010) This looks like a former club jeep.
“this 48 has a 327 small block chevy, camel hump heads, eldelbrock carb and intake. 4 speed , newer axles, relocated stearing box, tilt wheel. larger gas tank, runs strong. a great old jeep”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500
(09/06/2010) In many respects this looks good, but there were a couple issues that caught my eye. The rear bumper is strangely bent downwards and in the front, a cross piece has been welded on top of the frame and the driver’s side frame rail has been welded and drilled. So, I’d check this frame out closely as it has some miles on it.

(09/27/09) Given the motor is seized, this price might be a bit high.
“1947 Willys Jeep 4×4 needs restored motor stuck this is a civillan model; bought after the war era. clear title $1500.00”
As you can probably guess, I didn’t quite get to updates this morning .. soooooo, I shall do them tonight. However, I’m sure you’ll feel better knowing that most of my garage is now packed and cleaned!
Brian forwarded this. Wait for the Jeep Cherokee and watch it float the river, or not float it. So, here is the question, you have a camera and someone you know is experiencing an emergency. Do you keep filming?
This could be a CJ/DJ combo given the 4wd.
“I am selling my 1956 Classic “Willys” Jeep CJ-2. It is powered by a 350 cu. in. chevy V-8 (2-barrel carb.) with a 4-speed (granny low) transmission. The “Jeep” has a new battery and is equipped with a tow bar. It has a clean and clear “Texas” title in my name. It has been adult driven checking fields and for hunting but could easily be made street legal. Call for directions (325) 625-1439. Method of payment is cash or will trade for a good tractor of equal or greater value.”
That’s a square tubed bumper.
“I have a 1947 Willys for sale. It’s a great little jeep, but I have moved on to another project. The jeep is mostly original with the exception of the 53 engine. A new gas tank was added about a year ago. I have the rear seat, but it needs to be repaired. It has some rust, but nothing bad considering it’s 64 years old. The jeep runs, but number 3 cylinder is oily. (possible ring job?) the title is clear and in my name. This would make a great trail project or hunting jeep. Email me for more info or pictures.”
This has the passenger side tool indents, but not battery box lid nor a tail gate. I’m going to guess this is a replacement tub.
“I Have a willys jeep tub its in okay shape will need some work buts its worth what im asking for it. 200 OBO Will throw in the hood if bought for 200.00 Call, text or email at anytime (623)606-298six Thanks Pete”
