“This is a 1952 Willys CJ3 Jeep. I bought the Jeep about 50 years ago and was going to make it look like brand new. Than never happen. It had a over head value engine at the time so I remove it to replace it with a correct motor The flat head motor was stuck and I never got around to fix it. The rust is not bad for this age of Jeep. I think that the wheels our off a Jeep pick-up but not sure. This is a Jeep that will need a lot of attention. I am not sure if I can find the title but will be looking.”

“Two items for sale, different prices. Sorry, no part outs. I do not reply to texts or email. Phone calls only, leave a voice message and I’ll call you back. Thanks.
1. 1948 CJ2A rolling chassis: this is the “late” ’48 frame, thicker steel, same frame used for CJ3A and CJ3B. Steers, brakes work, trans and transfer work, radiator, this would make a great chassis to build your old Jeep project on. Front crossmember has been modified, new repro front crossmember included. $950
2. CJ3B: this sale includes the 3B body tub, windshield frame, hood, fenders and grill. Tub is rough with rust, dents bondo, other sheet metal in pretty good shape overall. $750″
Bill spotted this one. It looks like a good price. It’s probably has some body work done near the steps.

“Nice little cj2a. Have been working on it but now priorities have changed. New water pump, break reservoir, points, plugs, rotor and cap and spark plug wires. Needs to hook a new fuel line from tank to fuel pump ( which also need replaced. the pump.). motor starts right up when you pour some gas into the carburetor. Great project if you want to restore or clean up and use as is. Mostly just surface rust. Only thru rust I’ve seen is in floorboard on passenger side, which has been plated under. If ad is up it’s available. CASH only and don’t need help selling and I’ve heard all the scams so don’t bother me with them.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(08/30/2021) Has some bondo and a funky paint job, but runs.

“1946 Ford GPW. This flat fender is a World War 2 production jeep that was license in 1946, it was produced during the war
Comes with original L-134 block engine, a new T-84 transmission, original D-18 transfer case, and original axles. All fluids have been change and wiring has been upgraded to 12-volt to include a new Fuse box.
New carburetor, new distributor and much more.
Jeep runs good and drives good for something made to storm the beaches of Normandy. New clutch and linkage, brake master cylinder, wheel cylinders, lines and brake shoes.
Jeep has a newer Best top cover with doors. Seats are new and canvas is era specific.”
This race jeep was modified with one-ton axles. Note the wider rear axle with an added fender well. The racers note the Jeep has 24-forward speeds. Maybe that means a six speed with an overdrive and transfercase? The article appeared in Roseville’s (CA) Press Tribune on October 23, 1968.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was at an Estate Sale.
Matt spotted this ad. No price yet on this one. It sounds like it doesn’t run.

“I have a 1953 CJ3B I’m looking to trade or sell outright. I’m only interested in Willys pre CJ3B models as trade. I bought this all original (except paint), unmolested Willys as a summer project when I couldn’t find a 2A or 3A at the time. I have $2000 of new parts with receipts installed. I have cleaned/inspected/tested/rebuilt or replaced the complete brake system (replaced), complete fuel system (new tank and lines), starter, generator, clutch, and transfer case. The starter and charging systems work well, still 6 volt. I had it running and drove it in and out of my garage but it won’t stay running now. The front and rear floors need to be replaced but rest of the body is pretty solid. I’m in North Eastern PA with a clear PA title in hand. Let me know if you have any questions or would like specific pictures.”
UPDATE: This was for sale in 2020. Maybe it never sold or maybe being resold.

(from previous ad) … “Great Fun! Has been in the family over 40 years. It runs, has full roll bar, front and back towing. 2 sets of tires and rims. It has been kept in storage. My father told me it was a 4 cylinder plymouth engine. It is a 4 wheel 3 speed. It has very low mileage. Enjoyable as it is or easily made to look like new. No cracks in the windshield. The original serial numbers are on the under carriage with the 5 pointed star at the beginning and end of the sequence. It has a clear title and has been put on non-op as I cannot drive it anymore because of numerous back surgeries. I will miss it. I learned to drive on it when I was 9 years old. I hope to find it a good home. Some seal are dry and need greasing. You can make an appt to see it. Contact me through my email.”
