Up for sale is a 1947 Willys CJ2A serial #116959 that is finished as an MB style WWII Army military Jeep. This jeep is ready to be driven and can be enjoyed today. It is great in Parades, errands, and road trips. I use it currently for trips to the hardware store and Walmart. You get lots of looks and high fives. This is a Fun jeep! This is NOT a frame-off restoration. I take good sound jeeps, fix and upgrade where it needs it, and finish them to military.

“A very nice HISTORIC convertible ready to go.
Orig 4 cyl engine and 3 speed column transmission. Both were overhauled by previous owner who died before finishing his pride and joy. The car has lived it’s whole life in Oklahoma, and was finished by his son and then sold to dealer at estate auction.
The mileage reads 23,247. Cars runs great, shifts easy and rides smooth. Lights, brake lights and horn all work. It was repainted years ago in it’s original yellow color. Wide white wall poly tires are in excellent condition and run smooth. Brakes are very good and stop better than my truck. The car has no radio (optional in “48) and no heater (also optional) and your arm is the turn signal (I have TS kit that goes with the car). All these can easily be retro-fitted. The gas gauge is erratic but I have a complete extra dash that goes with car that will fix that problem. The orig generator has been replaced with a new 6v alternator for better spark and starting (old gen goes with the car).
All chrome is excellent, no rust. Floor pan has been replaced
The top canvas and back glass is in excellent condition and easily goes up and down, manually.
I purchased the car a couple of years ago. I have done some minor work on it but my 83 years have finally caught up with me and seriously limit my efforts.”
This 2A was just listed over at Sellajeep.com.

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto/d/petaluma-1948-willys-jeep-cj-2-restored/6806419072.html
“Restored a few years ago, with only 23 miles put onto it since then. Yes, 23 miles.
-Body was removed and professionally painted
-Engine was professionally rebuilt. Full tear down and rebuild
-Has factory installed 3 point hydraulic hitch
-Comes with plow attachment
-New brake cylinders and new brakes
-Converted to 12volt
-Currently non-opted with $0 back DMV fees
-Comes with original owner’s manual
-New tires
After WW2, Willys started to produce vehicles that could be multi-purpose. They wanted to build a truck that could complete with a tractor on the farm, so there were a bunch of factory options you could order the truck with.
This one has a factory installed hydraulic lift on the back. This was so you could pull a plow ( which comes with the truck ) or any number of other accessories. It could be disconnected if desired though.
The Jeep also comes with the rear seats and tailgate which could be installed if the hydraulic hitch is removed. “
Looks like a good build.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $14,000.
Nice looking wagon.
“Listing for a friend. You are looking at a very nice and well detailed 1956 Willys Station Wagon. It is the 4 wheel drive with the Continental 226 engine. It has had a very nice restoration including brand new interior with great attention to detail. Powdercoated seat frames, new upholstery, headliner, floor, etc. All new chrome along with updated stereo as well. New chrome grill. Also has brand new tires including the spare. Paint shows very nice, although has minor rust showing above drivers rear wheel well and bottom right of rear hatch. It also has new wiring and generator under the hood. Attention to detail on this truck is apparent throughout.
The bad part and reason for the very low price, is while enjoying all this fresh work, the engine let go with one of it’s rod bearings and will need a rebuild. It is all complete and has not been pulled out, my friend is just done with it and ready to just move on from it now. No expense has been spared and you will not be dissapointed. Asking 14,000”
UPDATE: Priced dropped to $5500.

“The Jeep has never undergone a full restoration, but Willys America in Sonoma County worked on it to improve safety and drivability. Some of the engine and body work include new, replaced, or repaired components, such as wiring harness and cable, leaf springs, shocks, 12V system, fuel tank, clutch, hoses, brakes, fuel tank, and many more components. Receipts available for inspection. The jeep has several dents, scrapes, and rust spots. The windshield wipers do not work. There is no top. It is not a show vehicle, although fun to drive. I garage it in my hometown of Long Beach (Bluff Park), CA. Clear title”
