UPDATE: Was $4000. **Status Unknown**
It doesn’t run.
Just 1,519 Jeep FC’s 170’s were built in this configuration in 1958. This is a very original truck down to the Montgomery Ward’s brand tires that have been holding air continuously for the 20 years this truck has been in the family. The only non-original feature is that it has been converted to 12volt, but 6 volt components are included to convert it back. It has been stored in doors since 1994. We have had it running some years ago and the engine is not stuck. But… it is one of those projects that we just haven’t found the time for and it deserves to be passed on to someone that will fix her up and show off this rare, collectible truck. It does have some rust, but it is vey repairable and the windshield IS NOT cracked.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** No price.
It’s supposed to only have 2161 miles.

The engine was balanced during the rebuild process. The gearbox, clutch, and drivetrain was rebuilt. New electrical system. New tires. New brakes. New steering arms / knuckles. New cooling system rebuild. New gauges. Over $13,000 USD was spent in the rebuilding process. The body was left unmolested because this jeep is famous…This jeep was used in the following films: Pearl Harbor, Windtalkers, Flags of our Fathers, Letters from Iwo Jima.
