(0215/2017) The floors appear to have been refurbed, but it looks like a solid rig.

“1952 CJ3 in great shape a complete head turner. I see a lot of these at shows and this one blows them away.

I’ve owned it for the last 5 years and it looks to have had a pretty good restoration about 10 years ago. Engine, body and all mechanical parts in great working order. Just had it serviced, completely greased, new battery and tuned up last summer. Has a tow bar, no rust and it runs perfect. Sits in a heated garage upstate. ”

(01/05/2017) This might have a set of Free-Lock hubs. This may be a good price.

“Recently recommissioned from 20 yrs in storage.
Original flat head 4 cyl engine, 3 speed transmission transfer case and axles, all in good working order.
New steel gas tank and fuel gauge sending unit. serviced carb and fuel pump/filter. took off and cleaned fuel feed pipe. Cleaned air filter and new oil in it.
Replaced spark plugs and set ignition points. Runs smooth and strong.
Rebuilt all brake wheel cylinders and master. Cleaned and adjusted brake shoes. replaced front brake hose. Flushed brake fluid through all lines. Brakes and emergency brakes work nice.
Checked shocks and painted front and replaced rear.
New radiator and cap and all coolant and hoses. runs cool no leaks.
Changed oil and filter.
Rebuilt steering bell crank and greased all suspension and steering.
New 6 volt battery. Cleaned and serviced generator which charges nice. All gauges work. All lights work. Heater fan works.
5 15 inch steel jeep wheels from a 1965 wagoneer. Poor but drivable tires.
Bikini top is from a newer jeep but works.
I am a professional mechanic and have owned and serviced vintage jeeps since 1965, when I got my first Cj2a. I have been bombing around my property and the neighborhood for a week and fixing everything that comes up. Now it is road or trail ready. “1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A. This jeep is currently not operational due to inoperative brakes. The new master cylinder is still in the box. The installed engine is a 4-cylinder flat head and there is a 2nd engine included that is an overhead cam engine (also 4 cylinder). The electrical system has been converted from 6 volt to 12 volt. The installed engine was running when it was last used. It has been stored in covered parking for quite a while.. This jeep is a real bargain for the right person!”
