“DEALER SHOWROOM CLASSIC WILLYS!!! ORIGINAL MILES!! OWNED BY JEEP SERVICE MANAGER!! INVESTMENT GRADE WILLYS WAGON. I BOUGHT IT OFF THEIR SHOWROOM FLOOR SEVERAL YEARS AGO. UNRESTORED ORIGINAL CONDITION. ORIGINAL INTERIOR!!! ALWAYS STARTS RIGHT UP AND RUNS LIKE A SEWING MACHINE. IDLES SO SMOOTH AND QUITE YOU CAN BARELY HEAR IT RUN Cool patina, but also easily buff out. Both dealer and myself think it should be left as is. Runs great. Shifts great. Starts great. 4×4 works great. Doors and windows operate great. All door locks work great. Heater works great. Radio works but doesn’t sound great, never did. Original Willys branded floor rubber in darn good condition. All knobs there and work. Everything seems to be intact , original and working. Won’t find a better kept original.
Original dealer installed Warn overdrive works great. Cruise 60 all day long. Warn hubs work smoothly. Stored in climate controlled warehouse and driven occasionally. Might have a couple of more miles from test drives. ”

“I have a 1951 Willys M38 for sale.
I was planning a complete restoration but seem to lack the time to do so. This vehicle is street legal.
It has been in the family for quite a long time. I purchased it from a cousin and they used it primarily on their hunting lease in South Texas. It has spent the last 20 years of its life covered in a barn.
After purchasing it, I purchased & installed 2 new batteries, 5 new tubes & tires, windshield, windshield molding, shifter boots, front blackout lights, fuel pump & OE fuel tank & cap. I overhauled the carburetor & flushed the cooling system. I also purchased (but have yet to install) some new steering components & speedometer cable.
This would be a great vehicle for hunting season and some local driving.

“1965 Kaiser Willys Jeep CJ5, very rare Tuxedo Park edition meticulous frame off restoration, every last nut, bolt inside and outside with virtually every then available factory option, Dauntless Buick V6, Husky Overdrive, vintage Kelly Bonanza hardtop with removable doors, factory bench seat, factory chrome bumpers, etc. Restoration completed in 2012, just a few thousand miles driven since finished. I have replaced the springs, shocks, brakes, rear seal, Valves, Valve springs, fuel pump, oil pump, intake manifold, exhaust, rebuilt carb,New head lights, and much more. “This is my personal Jeep. I bought it in 1986 as part of a consignment of military vehicles from Camp Mabry in Austin, TX. Runs great. Engine, transmission, drive train, all body parts, and seats are as they were when the Jeep came out of Camp Mabry. Painted in 1987. Carb, wiring harness, side rear-view mirror are old/new replacements. The only non-military part is the water temp gauge. The Jeep has been kept in covered parking for the last 16 years in the high desert of Fort Davis, TX. Virtually no rust.”

“Lovingly restored 1946 Willys CJ-2A. This jeep has been in my family since 1953 so it is with much deliberation that I have decided to sell her. Other project are waiting so my baby needs a new home. No expense was spared in the frame off restoration of this jeep. Every nut, bolt, bushing, wire, bearing, seal, tire, belt, and everything else was replaced. The entire tub has paint mixed bed liner on the bottom and inside the jeep, even the underside of the hood and fenders were coated. Cloth wiring harness and 6 volt system keep it original. Hand painted pin stripes on wheels.

This is an ex-fire station jeep, which would explain the unusual paint job.
“1952 M38A1. Serial Number 22011, date of manufacture 9/1952. It was an ex-Marine, then Fire Department Jeep. I’ve owned it for about 20 years with the intention of restoring it back to original, it was painted maroon before I bought it. Original military jeep with the 24 volt waterproof electrical system. No rust, only some light surface corrosion in spots. New NDCC tires, wiring harness, batteries, canvas seat covers, spark plug wires, and summer top. Rear seat and external power connector. Many extra parts: 3 voltage regulators, generator to voltage regulator cable, original light switch, 2ea winter doors (not in the best shape, 1 winter side flap, new door bows, old set of plug wires, extra black out light lamp, original gauges (37800 miles on it), extra military style wire connectors and covers, original spring & horse hair seat covers, 4ea NOS ground straps, battery hold down brackets, new parking brake arm and shoes, engine electrical test kit (Sun model WPW-10), new grill welt, extra cuno oil filter gaskets, NOS radio antenna mount, spare ammeter gauge, misc hardware, parts manual and service manual.”
