Mark was asking about the side auxiliary windows on a Meyer hardtop and wonder if those were custom made or a factory option. This four page Meyer brochure answers that question.

I always liked those extra little side windows in the rear. Found a Meyer top some years ago in a junkyard without the windows, I cut out a pattern from cardboard and cut the metal myself with tin snips. Very easy to do, improves appearance and eliminates those blind spots.

Dave, Thanks for posting the Meyer brochure. The Meyer hardtops (and softtops) are the best looking tops. Those plow jeeps sure look good. I always thought it was Meyers with an “S”, quess I was wrong. I have never seen a Meyer V plow, did not now they existed back then.

With some time away from writing, maybe I can finally put together a post on hardtops and another on plows. We’ll see.

I’d love to find one of the V plows. I agree that the Meyers is the best looking hard top.
