“Project. Not currently driveable. Will need to be trailered. Needs engine and brake work to be started and stopped. I have driven it. It shifts through all the gears, low/high works and 2wd/4wd works. Some extra parts and original wheels/tires included. The picture makes the body look better than it actually is. Paint is blue peal coat over mostly bare metal. Topper is black Rustoleum. A better paint job with some body work would do a lot for it. With that said, it is definitely still a solid vehicle for 70+ years old. Has dings, dents and old repairs. A few small rust holes in the floor. All is common, repairable and no biggie. Needs to be seen in person to appreciate and evaluate it’s condition for yourself.

Some information about it:
-L134 Flat head 4 cylinder. Needs work but runs. Some head bolt hole threads are stripped out in the block. Might need piston rings. Spark plug hole threads should be hellicoiled. Head is not currently secured due to the bolt issue.
-3 speed T-90 manual transmission.
-Lockouts
-Low/high gear transfer case.
-12 volt conversion. Alternator/coil/battery/bulbs. Have original 6 volt parts.
-2 heaters. Untested and not connected.
-New 235/75R15 Goodyear Wranglers. Have 4 original rims with tires and a spare rim also.
-Plastic gas tank. Have metal one also.
-New Radiator. Have 2 originals also.
-Extra carburetor.
-Single electric windshield wiper. Needs to be wired back up. Have vacuum operated one also.
-New exhaust after manifold.
-New universal joints front and rear.
-Trailer hitch. No wiring.
-Removeable top and doors. Bolted on.
-Brakes work but are very worn and need rebuilding. E-brake works.
-Manual brakes and steering.
-Taill gate, hood and body are stamped Willys.
-Needs shocks. Have old ones.
-Seats are old Mustang buckets. No rear seat.
-No blinkers, cruise control, radio, hazards, a/c, power brakes/steering/windows/locks, usb ports or Bluetooth. It’s pretty basic.
-30 some thousand miles according to the odometer.
-Has a title

Trades considered. Even up or plus cash on your end.
Also have a nice modern Warn 9,000lbs winch and universal mount to add for the right trade.
I’ll add up to $500 if needed to make a deal for the following:
-4×4 pick up truck in good condition. No 2WDs unless it’s a dually.
-Cargo/cube/camper style van in good condition.
-Modern on/off road motorcycle. KLRs, XT, DRZ, etc. No strictly on or off road only bikes.
-Modern daily driver in good reliable condition.
Other trades considered. Not interested in rvs (except camper vans), boats, snowmobiles, dirt bikes or atvs at the moment.

I’ve decided I might not finish the Jeep and would rather have the money or another modern vehicle. Not looking for another project. Someone with a garage, time and abilty could make this thing very cool fairly easily. I’ll continue to tinker with it until it’s sold, traded or fixed. When driveable again I may just keep it.

If it’s something you are seriously interested in feel free to contact me. This Jeep would be best if customized and made your own rather than attempt to restore back to original in my opinion. I can provide more pictures, explain what I’ve done and what I think it needs. Cash price is firm at $4,000.”

Dave, I know when a person goes for looong road trips trips that towns and cities blend together and you can’t remember “where that was”… but Altoona is in Wisconsin.
