CJ-3B never installed body Washington, In $3200
The body looks pretty dirty for a never installed body.
“very nice never installed body, tailgate , windshield, fenders, hood, used grill and radiator . $3200.00 phone # 812-610-0003”
1963 CJ-3B Roseville, Mi $200

1953 CJ-3B Portland, Or $3500
UPDATE: Pictures have been provided. It looks like the body is a replacement body. The outside looks great.
This is a bit much for a non-runner.
“This ol’ Jeep is a rare one. I bought it from a collector in Salem Oregon. It was recently brought to Portland. The rear pto is a great conversation peice and was opporational when the motor was in the Jeep. This Jeep has a clear title and would make a great next project. The 283 Chev motor is removed and in need of a rebuild and the seat frames and cushions need to be replaced. I’ve listed details that are included below…..”
1959 CJ-3B Knoxville, Tn **SOLD**
UPDATE: Dan reports that he purchased this CJ-3B (was selling for $1100). Two weeks later it is running. Sounds like he got a good deal.
“I WANT TO BE VERY SPECIFIC ON THIS JEEP, ITS NOT ONE YOU CAN JUMP IN AND DRIVE AWAY IN, I BOUGHT IT WITH THE INTENTION OF RESTORING IT, THIS JEEP HAD THE ENGINE REBUILT 3/20/05 FOR A PRICE OF $982, AND HAS NOT BEEN RUN SINCE THEN, IT NEEDS A DISTRIBUTOR TO GET GOING, I HAVE THE RECIEPT FOR THIS REBUILD, IT WAS DONE IN SOUTH CAROLINA AND THE JEEP WAS TOWED HERE AFTER THAT WHEN THE OWNER MOVED TO KNOXVILLE …”
1964 ‘Army’ CJ-3B San Diego, CA **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2200.
The seller is calling this a ‘Army CJ-3B’. The 1945 GPW in the picture to the left of the CJ-3B is also for sale.
“I have an original 1964 US Army CJ-3B for sale. The body is in almost completely rust-free condition with the exception of the rear quarter panels (as pictured), which are also somewhat bent. The front passenger fender and step are bent a little bit. The floor boards only have surface rust. The front bumper is off of an auxiliary power unit jeep and was put on by another person. The engine is more than likely toast because the valve cover was removed by someone and never put back on. I have another F-head engine that I will include which is in a little better shape, but the oil has turned to sludge and it will probably need to be completely rebuilt.”
1951? CJ-3B Arvada, Co **SOLD**
“1951 Willys Jeep, 3,000 miles on engine, pwr steering.78 cj steering column, transmission, transfer case. rear and front end. Warn winch 8,000 lb. Detroit lockers with 538 gears. Newer best top, tow bar. Very clean rust free jeep. Must see 3,600 obo”
1964 CJ-3B Denver, Co $2195
Brian pointed this one out to me. There’s a pic of the hudson steering as well.
“I’m posting my flatty for sale. Its a Jeep CJ3B. The condition its in is ‘rough’ but workable. It drives great; just needs a little tlc. Here’s the meat: She’s been converted to a straight 6 232 engine, which made for some interesting modifications. Wild Bill was apparently the guy that did it, if that means anything to you. Its got a t-90 with factory overdrive and factory PTO with the winch. The winch has a broken foot, but the mechanism works fine. This jeep has a hudson steering conversion….”
1959 CJ-3B Three Rivers, MI **SOLD**
UPDATE: Was $5600. **SOLD**
“I’m moving in a couple of months and am looking to sell my 1959 Willy’s Jeep, model CJ3B. Rust free, with a four inch lift, new Ground Hawg 6 ply tires (14/35/15). The engine is a 231 Buick V6 with Heddman Headers. The Jeep comes with a vinyl top and original seat frames that have been re-upholstered, the tool box is also in excellent shape.”
1955 CJ-3B West Plains, MO **SOLD**
This look solid and pretty stock.
“Unrestored, original 26K miles, 1955 Willy’s CJ3B Jeep. The original owner was a doctor who bought the jeep as a hunting rig in 1955. The second owner purchased it for the same purpose, hunting. He had his mechanic look it over prior to each season. 3-4 years ago he stopped hunting and parked it. As a precaution, I oiled the cylinders and it turned freely. I bought it intending to restore it, but find I do not have the time. I was told it needed brakes. It has 16″ military tires on it which are in good condition. Tow bar is included. I am asking 3,000.00 O.B.O. No e-mails.”
1953 Navy CJ-3B Amesville, Tn $3250
The images are a bit tiny to tell much. I’m not a big fan of the paint job, but other than that this might not be a bad price.
“1953 CJ3B Navy Jeep. Still has Navy ID and information tag on the dash. Jeep is in fantastic mechanical condition. It is currently titled & licensed and I drive it daily. Does not use oil or smoke. Motor and drive train work flawlessly except for 2nd gear. Like 75% of old jeeps, it pops out of 2nd gear when decellerating. Odometer only shows 2870 miles and it works, but I can not verify that those are the correct miles. Brakes stop it straight and fast. All turn signals and lights work. Has been converted to 12volts. Has 4 new military type non directional tires on 16″ stock rims. The spare is a newer 16″ rough tread on a split rim wheel. All guages work. Has lock out hubs & a tow bar. Call 740-448-2600 if you have any questions. Thank you.”
1964 CJ-3B Columbia, Mo **SOLD**
This is a nice looking CJ-3B, but what’s going on with the rear springs?
“1964 CJ3B Jeep runs & drives – 4X4 works – has F134 motor, an extra transfer case, and a metal top with doors. Will take $3,500.00 OBO.”
1953 CJ-3B Plymouth, MN **SOLD**
The seller lists this as a 1953 GB2. I thought that was a mistake until I did a search and discovered that this probably means this jeep is part of the second round of serials numbers for CJ-3Bs. In other words, it’s a pretty early CJ-3B.
“1953 Willys GB2. B style so room for new engine. 12 Volt System. Valve stuck in the original flat head. Tranny, lock outs, and diff good shape. Good wheels and tires. I don’t have time to rebuild. Great project. Licensed as collectable. $2,995 or BO.”
1960 CJ-3B San Juan, Puerto Rico **SOLD**
Here’s the first jeep I’ve ever featured from Puerto Rico and what a beauty it is.
“For Auction Beautifull 1960 Jeep Willys, it has been in the family since new, only one owner. It was recently restore by professionals. Everything in great working conditions.
1954 CJ-3B Westminster, MD **SOLD**

It looks in pretty good shape.

1965 CJ-3B Ogden, Ut **SOLD**
This has some great upgrades, though it’s a little high for my tastes.
“JEEP CJ3B. ALL NEW OR REBUILT, TOP TO BOTTOM, END TO END. 289 ford eng.;
NP435 4 speed trans, w/ 6.68 –1 first gear; Dana 18 transfer case . W/ Overdrive; Model 44 rear diff, Model 30 front diff.; 410 gears; extra large front disc brakes; rear drum brakes; 6” lift, 35” tires. Between $24K & $25K invested. $12,500 obo.”
1961 CJ-3B Eugene, OR **SOLD**
“Just prior to this sale all systems of this Jeep were gone through by a professional mechanic who made sure everything is working perfectly. This work included a new turn signal switch and a new electric windshield wiper motor on the driver’s side. The passenger side has the original hand operated windshield wiper. …. The drive train is all original and in very good working condition. A Petronix electronic distributor keeps the 134 CID engine running smooth and strong with less maintenance. The transmission and transfer case work perfectly….”
Willys parts jeep includes OD Vancouver, Wa
I’m just not sure what this is, but the pinto engine + header might not be a bad price.
“pinto 4cyl,4v,header $300 clutch,top loader 4sp,t-176 shifting tower,18 transfer case,warn over drive, drive line’s rebuilt 44 reaar &27 front 427 gear’s ,11” brake’s$$1500 all still in cj3b–”
early CJ-3B Canyon Lake, TX **SOLD**
The seller lists this as a ’49. It’s not, but with the 5 gauges, it is an earlier (pre Nov 1956 CJ-3B). Motor seized.
“Motor rebuilt 5 years ago, have all the original paperwork. Jeep has been sitting for 4 years; motor locked up. Body clean, no rust new fuel tank, foam filled tires.
Asking $2000 or OBO or will discuss trade”
1953 CJ-3B Austin, TX **SOLD**
It appears someone got a good deal on a parts jeep or project. This sold very quickly.
“The Good – 53 willys Jeep, late 60’s Olds V-6 motor – the motor and drivetrain seems tight and good. It is complete, was driven until 2000. Will need to be thoroughly checked out after being parked for so long. Rollbar is in good shape. Have the original owners Oregon Title, I got the vehicle from her son when I bought his house. The bad – no keys, the throttle pedal needs to be re-attached to floorboard, did I mention the brakes – need rebuild. Kids shot the windshield glass w/BB gun 2×3 times, tires are OLD, will probably need a distributor. It needs seats, the old seats are trashed. It has some cancer, but the diamond plate covers it well.”
1954 CJ-3B Durango, Co **SOLD**
