UPDATE: **SOLD**
(06/04/2017) Looks nice. This has an early 0-10 speedo, but the front spring shackles aren’t reversed. I believe they should be reversed if this is truly a ’55 (I thought the springs were reversed at least into ’56?).

“I am selling my 1961 Willys Jeep. I did a frame-off restoration on it over the past 6 years. It has a rebuilt 134 Hurricane 4 cylinder. Rebuilt transmission, transfer case, new brakes, new paint, new seats, etc.
I am willing to trade it for something that is of equivalent value ($12,000) if it is interesting.”
Craig shared this one. I wouldn’t say this is an “easy” restoration, but sounds like it may have a good engine.
“1963 Willys Jeep with 27,6999 actual original miles on newly bought engine. 4WD, heavy transfer case, 4 cycle, complete and all original. Tires hold air. Last run and registered in 1989. Easy restoration. Please, serious inquiries only. Located in mid-Hudson River Valley of New York State.”

“Selling a Jeep CJ5. comes with mid tires…Runs”

“green body, in need of great repair. Possibly will take offer within the asking price. Jeep needs to literally be rebuilt to some degree. I listed it rebuilt meaning the buyer would have to assume some of that responsibility. Thanks”

UPDATE: Still Available.
(06/05/2017) Craig spotted this plow jeep with a unique color scheme. Look slick there’s value.
“1964 Willys Jeep with 6 ft snow, 4 cyl, hardtop with wind up windows, fully functional plow goes up and down (no power angle), starts right up, brakes work, lights work, etc.
This is a good Jeep for plowing your lot, drive, or whatever. Currently not licensed or inspected, do not know what it would take for inspection. The hardtop and plow are worth more than half the asking price. Body has been patched and was painted Red, White and Blue. Very patriotic but not very pretty. This is no SHOW JEEP, it runs good and stops good and will make a good plow Jeep.
NO WARRANTIES, HISTORY, OR PROMISES, SOLD AS-IS, WHERE-IS. Please don’t call with low ball offers. If you’re really interested, make an appointment, come look, bring CASH and we’ll talk. I will NOT talk price with anyone over the phone with out you having seen the Jeep.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500.
Jim shared this ad. The Meyer hardtop looks worth $500 by itself.
“65 cj with metal top, no motor, pretty good condition given the year. Would be a nice project. 500$ or best offer cash in hand gets it. Would have loved to have made it mine but moving can’t take with. Has solid roll cage as well. A true anitique but still in good shape, was a mail carrier.”
Seller won’t sell to someone outside Washington State.
“Running driving 1960 Willys. Removable hard top with steel doors. The CJ is stock with an f head 4 cyl. 3 speed. Permanent plates. Comes with a solid spare tub. The tub on it is pretty rusty. Comes with a set of stock steel wheels a spare tow bar rear hitch and a couple other small spares. Would make a fun little hunting rig. You can fix it up or you just enjoy it as it is with all of it’s “patina” for as we used to call it RUST. Please keep your calls and texts to decent hours. No I don’t need help selling it no I will not return out-of-state inquiries.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $750.
Has a Meyer hardtop.
“1963 Willy’s Jeep. Clear title. Original running 4 cylinder hurricane engine.

It runs and has some cool rims.
“This is a good running jeep it has the buick v6 it is currently registered it has a new water pump and fuel pump and new seats”
It’s a pretty clean jeep overall. Seller notes the paint isn’t all that great, but it doesn’t look all that bad in the pics either.
“56 CJ5 Originally from Arizona, very straight. Warn overdrive. Warn hubs. Ramsey winch. Dick Cepek jerry can and spare carrier. Roll bar. Tow bar.
New: complete engine overhaul. Starter, alternator, carburetor, fuel pump, gas tank, wheels, spare, wipers, turn signals, speedometer and more.
Almost New: brakes, wheel cylinders, hoses, front end, clutch, exhaust, tires and more,
Bought to fix up for daughter but things changed. Fresh paint over faded old but didn’t cover well do to my inability as a painter . I have more paint so could be fixed by someone else.”
Seller is also selling the trailer, but it’s not clear if the trial is included in the price or not.
“1956 Willys Jeep stored inside for last 30 years until recently so body is pretty good for it age. No holes is floor board. Engine is original 4 cylinder but condition is unknown. Some components under the hood are missing. Serial no. is 41589 and I believe it is a CJ-3B model. Sits on well-built trailer with ramps and has new wheel bearings and races both sides. Have titles for both jeep and trailer. Prefer to sell both but will sell separately.”
Only three jeeps? That’s certainly not an out-of-hand jeep addiction!
