There were some jeeps at SEMA 2023 this year, but one of the most interesting was a rebuilt FC-170 by Roy. The excerpt starts at 2;27. (I can’t tell what the narrator is saying, because my sound isn’t working tonight for some reason).

1960 FC-150 Baton Rouge, LA **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $28,000.
Nice looking build.
“1960 Jeep Forward Control FC 150 “Slow Tow” Custom build. Original 4cyl, 3sp original drive train. 4wd works as it should. Cranks and runs first try every time. Front PTO that runs the original Ramsey winch. All lights, turn signals, etc work properly. This truck is a real head turner every where it goes. Top speed is a little over 50mph. You can feel all of the factory rated 72 hp. Towing set up is just for show. This was a complete frame off tear down and rebuild. Zero rust on frame. Notice the wiring…there isn’t a rats nest hanging under the dash like many of the other ones listed. Hester works. I put a couple hundred miles on it during cruisin the coast and did the same for jeepin the coast. I own several of these but this is the most fun and I drive it the most. I am moving soon and only have room to keep a few items. Make me an offer because it has to go. Clean title in hand.”
1960 FC-150 Tulsa, OK $5100
Unclear if it runs or not.

“1964 Willy Jeep FC150 Fc-150 forward control. Starts on starting fluid. Moves, shifts, been sitting since 2016. Clean Indiana title in my name. Good vin plate. At the time it was the only fc-150 titled as such in Indiana. Tires hold air for a few hours. Not drivable but could be pretty easily. F134 engine. I believe it to be a 4 speed trans. Reverse is up and to the right. Aftermarket bed. Rusty sheet metal. Solid frame. 4×4 with manual hubs. Western cable plow not currently operational. 6 foot blade. Project. Broken windshield and drivers window is cracked. Roof has rust above gutters. It’s cool because it still exists. I believe I am the 3rd owner. Originally owned by a concrete company in a nearby town. Drum brakes. Manual steering, mechanical clutch. Bring a trailer. Only trade may consider is a Chevy 2500 plow truck or better”
1963 FC-150 Middleburg, VA $18,000
Appears solid.

“This 1963 Willys Jeep FC-150 is a cab-over pickup that is red with gray upholstery. It is powered by a 226ci Buick Odd Fire V-6, mated with a three-speed manual transmission and a dual range transfer case. It was acquired by the seller in 2020 and is believed to have spent much of its life in Illinois and Pennsylvania. The FC was fully rebuilt by the previous owner, to include engine replacement, full wire harness and interior replaced. FC runs but needs a loving home and someone with a deep appreciation of the history of this vehicle and preferably is mechanically inclined. Unfortunately, I have run out time and need to sell it in preparation for a job relocation.”
1963 FC-150 Magalia, CA **Status Unknown**
UPDATE: Status Unknown, Was $13,499.
It runs, but isn’t completely restored.
“1963 Jeep FC150. Stock motor runs fine. New aluminum gas tank fabricated in place of rusty original. New clutch disk, pressure plate, Syncros replaced, New brake master cylinder, all wheel cylinders, brake lines, brake drums, wheel bearings, wiring harness, speedo, horn, steering wheel. All new glass, rubber, window track felts, windows roll up and down well. Have but not installed new door cards, plus old upholstered but warped cards. Pretty much all cab rust repair tackled, including replacing steel over the windshield, and at lower corners. At one time it had a snowplow. Main frame plow attachments remain. Other plow brackets and front bumper with snowplow parts except blade included. I have lost interest in completing a cosmetic restoration, but not too much more to go. Located in 95954. Would trailer to deliver as far south as Sacramento, as far north as Redding.”

“Very Rare 1960 Jeep FC150 ( Foward control) Honestly, a bit of a sweet basket case. Small block Chevy (poss 327) in unknown condition, military pto winch, short bed, mostly complete, unfinished axle swap, not a roller..Not much rust, no title with bill of sale. (I bought several cars from an estate and can’t keep them all.) Super cool, hard to find and a solid project worth the fight. Maybe modify to newer Jeep chassis? Could be absolutely bitchin! Priced accordingly $2800. Always consider offers and trades.”

John Bean FireTruck Ad FC-150
UPDATE: Here’s a better image of a Bean Model 200F from a November 1958 ad on eBay:
=========================
This post was from August 22, 2012: I show two ads below. John Bean appears to have built both a FC-150 Model 200-F Fire Jeep, and a FC-150 Model-FJ. I don’t know what the difference between the two is.
1. This blown up portion of the ad shows the ad for the Model 200-F from a 1960 Ad
2. This ad is from 1959. I can’t tell what model is shown. These are two of 12 pages in the brochure.

“This is a bed and frame including rear axle as shown. Great for parts for a FC150 or make a cool Jeep trailer. The floor has rust so will need to put something over it if you plan to use the bed. Fenders are decent and are worth $250 by themself. Price is $250. Can load. If the ad is posted it’s available. Phone calls only no text or emails. Would make a cool Jeep trailer.”

“1964 M678 van and a 1965 M679 ambulance. Both have been sitting in the woods of NC for 45+ years. Project FCs that are rough but rare and worth saving. Both still have the Cerlist 2 stroke 3 cylinder diesel and come with the transmission and transfer case. Each has a NC title that will transfer legally. They do not run and will require extensive restoration but the owner(s) will be part of an exclusive club!
The ambulance has about 3400 miles. It still contains the rear fold down side bench and the top medic light.
The van has about 3900 miles and what looks to be a full set of rear crew seats. The dog house cover is included.
$16,000 each or $30,000 for the pair.
We still have an M676 left with the Cerlist if someone is interested in a three M series package deal.
