“I have two of these trucks. One is a 1958 and the other a 1961. They both need total restoration. They are well optioned with long wheelbases (9ft beds), running boards, hurricane engine etc. The 1958 was a Forrest Service vehicle, original paint color was ‘Safety Green’. 1961 was intended to be a parts vehicle but they both can be restored. Clean title in hand. Emblems and black on yellow plates are in hand as well. There are many parts that go with these Jeeps. Take a look at the pics and let me know if this something you’d like to know more about.”

“… Described as having undergone a cab- and bed-off restoration, with recent paint that’s said to be in very good shape, the Jeep has also reportedly received a new bed floor and hardware, and scored a win in its only car-show appearance to date…”
I suspect this will sell pretty quickly.

“Rare chance to own a piece of Jeep Willy’s history! You don’t see these very often. Here what may be your only chance to own the coolest truck in town! I’m Selling this 1960 Jeep willys FC-170. It is not a FC-150 with the short bed, this is the 3/4 ton with a 9’ bed. This particular truck used to be a hooker/ tow truck at some point. Very good patina. Not as rusty as you may think. I have 10 of them and this is one of my better ones. Very solid bones. No motor or trans. CLEAN TITLE IN HAND Not interested in trades. $6000 cash only Located in Grand County, Co. Can deliver anywhere for fair price.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
(11/01/2022) No drive train.
“Jeep Fc170 that would make a good parts fc. There is no engine, transmission, driveshafts, or steering column. No title. $1500 Firm. Trades considered, I can add cash on my end. Looking for a 4 post lift, shipping container, enclosed snowmobile trailer, or a forklift.”
UPDATE: Back up for sale for $22,500.
(09/30/2020) Lots of updates to this FC.170 tilt bed. Needs some electrical work.
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/286616237686303
“The brief rundown is, it is a 1958 FC-170. It has a mid-engine Ford 351 with a C6 automatic. The truck has a ton of really cool features, such as a hydraulic bed and deck cover. Suicide doors, custom fiberglass bed. Jaguar rear end with coilover shocks, independent Mustang 2 front end on airbags. Complete custom interior. It really is a lot of fun, and gets attention everywhere it goes. Needs a little bit of electrical help, and could use a good paint job. It runs and drives. No rust. Located in southern Utah. Can help with shipping, if you arrange it.“
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500.
Does not run.
“1960 Jeep FC, complete truck with bed and tailgate, currently not running but has the entire drivetrain in vehicle. I’m including a box of miscellaneous fc parts that I’ve collected.”
Seems worth a look. Includes a non-running FC-170 and an extra rolling chassis.
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/234173467598424
“1959 Willys FC170. Complete non running with title. Engine turns over but has Marvel Mystery oil dumped down the spark plug holes to prevent seizing during storage. The transmission shifter easily goes through all the gears and the tcase shifts as it should. The truck does have rust as it was a grounds maintenance vehicle for many years and it is from the 50s after all. I do still have the snowplow and it is included in the sale. Also included is a spare roller without a body. It has a Ford V8 a Willys transmission and tcase and the axles. It also has helper springs, heavy duty reinforced bumpers and bed braces should you really want to build a heavy FC truck, say to haul a vintage camper or such. I have new in box a 12v conversion and tune up kit along with a new in box complete wire harness. I would be willing to do a partial trade for a 241OR transfer case for a Wrangler, or an overdrive unit or a rear 540 PTO box for a CJ5.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000
This is a project.
“$5,000 OBO. Rare opportunity to own a 1956 Jeep FC 150 (forward control pickup). This truck has been garaged for 15 years. The bed is like new and ready for paint. Brand new fenders. The cab is coated in rust inhibitor. The original chassis (rare narrow track) is included. It is nearly a complete truck. It’s on the trailer and ready to pick up. Delivered for a fee. Title in hand. Would consider a trade or partial trade for a decent CJ or TJ.”
Should have some parts value at the very least.

I think all the parts for the AC are there but not hooked up. New Injectors and turbo in boxes. Nice project with the tilt Jeep Cab and the diesel engine. Come and look. Not a Commander“

“This is a jeep FC 170 flatbed truck, these are very rare. Unfortunately this one is in rough shape, I bought it years ago planning to fix it up and its only become a yard ornament so its gotta go. The frame is solid but everything else is very rotten. The motor is not original it is a chevy engine but not sure what model. It would need to be towed on a flat bed, does not run.”
Has a Chevy powertrain.
“Jeep FC170 with chevy drivetrain (305, th350, divorce tcase np205?) Frame is the best I have seen on these old jeeps besides the crossmembers being cut up by a previous owner. But is rusty but it’s straight and solid enough to weld and repair. Comes with some extra body panels from a parts cab to get you started. Good glass all the way around. Engine turns over, but needs a new starter. Was told it runs but I cannot confirm. $2500 Firm Maine, delivery available, hold only with $250/week Deposit.”
