“2 jeeps for sale selling as a pair. You could take the 2 and make a nice jeep as all the parts are the same. 1 jeep is a 1957 CJS with engine and transmission that ran good 2 years ago until starter went out. The other is a military M38A1 that had a cannon mount on the back, no motor has transmission. 2000.00 for both”

“1954 Willys-Jeep with matching trailer”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500.
This has a CJ-5 grille, but an M-38A1 body. The rear has been extended on the body. This might have a set of Thor Auto-matic hubs on it, but I can’t tell for certain.
“V-6, 227 Conversion, hard top and hard doors included, and tow bar”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5800.
Robin noticed that this doesn’t have a battery box; yet it does have all the other characteristics of an M-38A1 body (and does not have the CJ-5 body branding). Anyone have any thoughts as to why?
“Has hard top that can be removed new tired and brakes.”

“1963 M38A1 Military Jeep & matching Trailer. Jeep runs and drives great. New Top, New Tires, New seat covers, new rebuilt starter. Steering wheel has since been changed to quick release, blackout convoy lights, map light & road lights. Being a ‘63 you don’t need to wear a seatbelt but one has been added to passenger side for Grandkids. 4×4 works perfectly with 3 speed transmission (also has high & low range). 2 new batteries (a year old) – runs with original 24 volt systems (all but the windshield wipers – changed to electric 12 volt). Horn added. 5 gallon Jerry Can.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Bill shared this nice looking M-38A1. The jeep’s supposed to have only 4850 miles on it, but given the engine was likely pulled and painted (and rebuilt?) at some point, I find that claim hard to believe. Perhaps they are miles after engine rebuild? There are a few other clues that body parts were repainted as well at some point.
“1955 M38A1 Willys Jeep ONLY 4,850 original miles! I’ve had a couple of these and this one drives amazing. It is super complete with all of the knickknacks even the original 50 cal gun mount as you can see in the pictures ! Currently registered, clean clear CA title in hand.
Underwater hurricane engine !
It runs drives steers stops great all 4×4 has been tested and works great as well. Drives very nice for its age! no rust issues it is solid inside and out, you won’t be disappointed with this one ! I do have a original soft top side windows and soft doors, the doors and side windows are in pretty good shape but the soft top will need a little bit of work or replaced. This jeep is located in Yucaipa California .”

(04/27/2017) Blaine spotted this ex-fire jeep. Engine is stuck at this time.
“Clear SD title. Tires are 90% and jeep is pretty complete. Front bumper and some other odds and ends missing. The engine was stuck when I bought it so I pulled the spark plugs and put some PB blaster in the cylinders to work on freeing them up. Jeep has matching body number to vehicle data plate. Has correct military motor. Some rust in the usual places and a few small spots were cut out in the bed where a fire dept had a water tank mounted. Also have roll cage included, but not pictured. I was going to restore this back to military appearance, but honestly have too many projects so I’m selling it for what I have into it. Here is your chance to own a genuine military army jeep!”
Looks solid.

“Lots of work done, good driver/parade truck. This is my client’s Jeep and I’ve done 99.9% of the work to it since he acquired it. He is moving in a different direction in the hobby and is putting the Jeep up for sale and since I’ve done all the work for the last 4+ years, I’m helping him sell it.
Details: Currently registered and tagged in Georgia, current owner has the title from the prior owner in Florida (Georgia will not title anything built prior to 1963). Located in Winder, Ga. Vehicle has recently been serviced with new oil and filter, all fluids checked, all zerks greased, etc. All systems on vehicle function as they should: Engine, drivetrain, 4wd, gauges, lights, parking brake, etc.
Condition: Vehicle is in very good driver or parade duty condition. Sheetmetal is above average, but not perfect. Both front fenders were wrinkled at some point and straightened. They are acceptable in their current condition but a new owner looking for show quality perfection will probably want to replace them. Tub corners, rockers, cowl and rear panel are excellent. Vehicle had a replacement floor pan installed at some point and the job was done competently. Rear panel is straight and has never had a tailgate cut in. Windshield is correct M-series Jeep (it’s an M170 ambulance Jeep model, but it’s identical to M38A1 other than two small brackets on top for stretchers) and has new glass and weatherstripping. Vehicle retains all of its original 24V system (25A generator, external regulator, blackout lights, etc.). Most of the wiring is new and retains the original Douglas connectors. The paint is older and a few spots have been touched up but overall it’s a clean and presentable vehicle. Vehicles runs very well, will maintain 50mph, transmission doesn’t pop out of 2nd gear like so many T90s, transfer works like it should, etc. Carburetor is the correct Carter YS950, etc.
