Hotchkiss’ don’t pop up for sale here in the U.S. too often. You can learn more about them on Andy’s M201 website.
“Although I’ve owned many jeeps this was my first and only Hotchkiss so I am not an expert. A few other projects force me to sell this baby. What is unbelievable bout this jeep is its condition for an unrestored jeep. It is very solid. As for the drive train it is all in excellent condition. The jeep is now riding on four combat wheels and a spare combat wheel (I think combat wheels look better than original hotchkiss wheels). The engine bay is very complete and correct. This is one of those jeeps you can enjoy for many years. During its life it has been registered and titled as an MB but from my research it is a hotchkiss which you don’t see too many of. According to the tag on the motor is say that DATE DE RECEPTION IS 2/10/63, I don’t know if that is considered to be delivery date or not but I am determining the jeep to be a 63 based on that information, if I’m incorrect feel free to email me. This jeep looks even better in person so come see it if you can. For the buy it now price I have a tandem tow bar as well as a T1 compressor that I will include. I would recommend keeping it in this condition and never restore it. I would drive this jeep anywhere in the US from California to New York, that is how good this baby runs. I am not a mechanic so, in an effort to keep everybody happy I recommend that all interested parties come see and inspect the jeep before bidding. I will consider MA, GPA or Bantam parts and manuals as partial trade towards the jeep. Good luck and happy bidding. “This willys is titled as a 1943. IT IS BY NO MEANS AN ORIGINAL MILITARY JEEP. Jeep is solid all the way around. Runs good, has no mechanical problems, except for small leak in the right header at the collector, has current inspection till 8/11, and a clear title. Engine is a 1967 odd-fire V6 (Dauntless V6) with a 4 barrel holley carb, has all aluminum heavy duty radiator, trans is a T86 newly rebuilt by a professional trans shop. Has a borg-warner All Range Overdrive unit. New clutch as of june 2010. rear is Dana 44 out of a CJ5 with 11 inch drum brakes, Front rear is a Dana 30 out of the same CJ5 with disc brakes and lock out hubs. The front is about 2 inches wider than the rear due to the disc brakes. You could run spacers in the back to even everything up, I chose not to, simply because I don’t care for them. Has new rancho leaf springs that provide a 1 inch lift. Tires are 33×12.50×15 Dunlop Mud Rovers with less than 1000 miles on them, on 15×10 wagon wheels. Willys also has power steering, heater, defroster and Sun Tach. The top on the willys is just the old top that I got when I bought it. I have sewn new window plastic in the drivers, passengers, and rear windows, due to the yellowing with age. I have more plastic that I will give along with the willys. (remind me of it) there is also a bikini top for the willys. Has racing seats with 5 point harnesses in the front, and a small bench seat with 4 point harnesses in the rear. The willys is by no means a speed demon, I do not recommend taking it on the interstate highways, but crusing around town up to 50 miles an hour it a great ride. Will Trade for running driving 67, or 68 mercury cougar”

1942 MB Chanute, Ks eBay
It’s not entirely stock, but looks solid.
“For your consideration is my 1942 Willys MB Army Jeep. I restored this Jeep several years ago and it gets used very little so I have decided to part with it. When restoring the Jeep I took the body off of the frame and installed new brakes (wheel cylinders, pads, master cylinder, brake lines) and painted the frame. I also undercoated the body. The engine is a flat head four cylinder but I am not sure it is original to the Jeep. I was told it was probably a little later model engine and that it had been gone through. The only thing I have done to the engine was to install new plugs, wires, distributer cap, rotor, etc. I also had the carb rebuilt and converted the Jeep to a 12 volt system with new electrical wiring. The engine sounds very good and does not smoke or use oil. The transmission and transfer case do work. I had the transmission rebuilt and it works well but it is sometimes difficult to get into second gear. It seems to be getting better with use. All gages are in good working order and the speedometer is new. The seats have been recovered as can be seen in the pictures. I also installed a new correct fuel tank and the Jeep has new tires on it. This Jeep is missing very little to make it complete. I do not have a top or top bows, what you see in the pics is what I have.”
Hotchkiss M201 ENTAC at Musee Des Blindes, Saumur, France
According to the M201.com website, in 2009 the Musee Des Blindes in Saumur, France, unveiled a Hotchkiss M201 ENTAC. I do not remember ever seeing one of these.
As far as I can tell, this M201 is the only jeep at this particular museum. These first and last pics are from this page on the M201 website. The 2nd pic was on Flicker and taken by Massimo Foti.

There were a couple mods to this, but otherwise looks good.

13 miles on speedo. Restored 20 years ago, very good body. NO RUST in rear tool boxes. Has machine gun mount, flat round spot on floor. 2 front seats with original seat belts, fold down back seat, blackout lights.
Shovel, axe, 5 combat rims, 2 on trailer. Matching trailer with original pintle hitch, support leg and brakes. Has rust hole in trailer floor and someone added a Willys tailgate, bottom of gate is rusted.
Jeep ran fine 10 years, now engine will not turn over. Has been parked under carport.
Owned by same family and brought to America with Scandinavian title, now has Florida title.
