” Willys-Overland sales booklet. For panel delivery truck. About 1950. Still sealed with original sticker. Eight panels.”
I don’t remember ever publishing these two ads.
“Original 1946 Willys Jeep For Business or Farm, the 4 in 1 ‘Jeep’ Does More Jobs…Tougher Jobs versatile 4-wheel drive ad. 2 pages. Please use the enlarge and zoom features to get a good look at the details.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Last year one of these was sold in segments. I bought one of those segments and I’ve seen some of the others. It’s a rare, pretty interesting book.
“This Product Merchandising Manual was made by Willys Motors Inc and Willys-Overland Export Corporation. This Has a Dated Price List 1955. The Original Binder is in OK Condition ,I Will Never Say Perfect.
I Noticed a Few Sections Missing ,,IE Wrecker , PTO Equipment , Sprayers ,Maybe Those Sections Went To Different Dealers.”
Here’s another Wheaties ad on eBay. Has a little bit of a Ford GP look to it.
“This old comic book ad (which ran in publications as a promotion, and measures approximately 6×9 inches) has a little wear, but is still in pretty good shape! Not a photocopy or more recent reproduction.”
At $15.95, this is a good price on the early mailer.
“Here is an Original 1945 1946 Jeep CJ-2A Mailer Type Brochure. Size is 10.75″ x 14″ folded and opens to a nice large 21.5″ x 14″ to show the views in the listing. Condition is N.O.S. (new old stock). This may have been the first sales literature for the new postwar Jeep. Printed on Newsprint they show some aging as the pictures show.”
**SOLD** Seller accepted my eBay offer. I’ll scan and share these.
This lot of four rare Willys News newspapers is an unusual find.
“Vintage 1950’s Jeep Willy’s News 1955 &
1956 Dealers Newspaper Original 4 Total
Thanks for viewing my items.
Nice Collection Of
1950’s Jeep Dealer Selling Promo’s”

” NICE BINDER OF WILLYS JEEP PICK UP AND STATION WAGON MANUAL IN GOOD USED CONDITION. I BELIEVE THESE ARE FACTORY MANUALS FROM THE 60’S.”
Anyone seen another of these signs? Bart is a sign collector from the Netherlands who just acquired this one. Given the DIENST SERVICE phrase, I’m assuming this was only available in Europe, or maybe just the Netherlands?
How about this poster!
“13 x 18 inch original poster from the US Army Safety Program, printed in 1948. Folded in half as issued. VG condition. Shows a graphic jeep wreck.”
This 1974 poster is one I haven’t seen available very often.
“For your consideration is an original rare vintage American Motors Jeep Parts Division Model Chart. The heavy stock paper chart shows pictures and identification features of all Jeep models from 1941 through 1974. The charts were designed to hang in a Jeep dealerships parts department for reference. It measures approx. 45″ wide, and 35″ tall. The chart is rolled and free of any rips, tears, stains, or pin/tack holes. The exposed edge has normal wear from age, handling and storage, but nothing that detracts from its appearance or functionality.”
It sure didn’t take people long to realize they needed some more secure nuts on their jeeps! It didn’t take me long 🙂
This early Canfield PTO Wrecker brochure shows Canfield as the manufacturer behind the Little giant PTO wrecker.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $400.
This appears to be a sign circa 1949, based on this post.
“Willy’s Service Overland Double Sided metal sign. It’s 60 inches wide. Must pick up at my home in buda”
There’s been a collection of 1950s/60s jeep brochures and booklets.

Cool sign.
“Vintage jeep sign 4×6 Does not light up”
This article from the July 1947 issue of WO Sales News describes Willys Overland’s launch of the 4WD Truck.
UPDATE: **SOLD** was on eBay.
If you can get your hands on a June 1946 issue Country Gentleman Magazine, you will find this ad. Or, you can just snag this one on eBay. Seller believes this is in fair to good condition, but given the stains it seems poor to me.
If you collect Super Jeep paraphernalia, this might be of interest.
“Great condition with minor surface scratches. It has the Super Jeep wheelie design with “Toughest 4-letter word on wheels” logo.”
Marc spotted this ad. Neither of us remember seeing the photo at the top.
“959 Jeep Willys Motors 4WD FC-150 Utility Wagon Magazine Ad Advertisement
Professional trimmed from 1959-1960 Successful Farming Magazines
Approximately 8″ X 11″ in Size”
Marc discovered this ‘flying jeep’ ad that includes a Ford GP.
“Black and white aviation magazine advertising ad for the
1943 Flying Jeep / McAleer Grasshopper.
Approximate ad size 5″ X 8”
UPDATE: This was on eBay. **SOLD**
Below that is a brochure for the same vehicle that sold a few years ago.
