“350 Chevy powered classic flat fender. Muncie SM420 4 speed transmission (granny low,) Spicer 18 transfer case, full width Dana 44 axles with air lockers front and rear, onboard air, forged aluminum wheels (incl spare), one piece hood and fenders for much easier engine access. Those are the big upgrades, but there are lots of others – too many to list. The front seats are shabby, but I have a set of good condition, cloth seats from an early model 4runner (the ones that had a physical therapist on the design team – wayyyy better than the Ricaros.) Also have a spare SM420 (no, I don’t want to sell it separately) and a full cloth top. As you can see, the paint needs some help. The floor pan has all been replaced with heavier gauge sheet metal, but it’s also due for fresh paint. Runs strong, but could use a carb expert to get it dialed. “Here is your chance to own a piece of history. As they say, They don’t make them like this any more. 225 Buick v-6, t-14a transmission, Dana 18 transfer case and a Warn Overdrive swapped in from a late 60’s CJ-5.

The engine is healthy and has a rebuilt Holley 2280 carb with no choke, new intake manifold gaskets, new t-stat and new electronic ignition and coil, the trans and transfer case got new bearings 2 years ago. New coolant gauge installed last week.

A Dana 44 with open differential pushes the rear and an Dana 25 with new axles, Spicer I-joints, and new bearings and seals 2 years ago on the knuckles. New blinker switch, tail lights, and wiring this summer.

A full roll cage keeps you safe and I do have a full soft top and doors to go with it. A Warn 8274 winch is up front to pull your buddies out. Nearly new 33×12.5×15 mud terrain tires. This is not a rust bucket nor a near mint Jeep. It was my daily driver until 2 yrs ago. has sat way too much since then so time to sell.”

“1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep with an M38 windshield. 289 c.i. V8, 4 speed transmission with overdrive, 4WD heavy duty axles, tilt and power steering, power brakes, hydraulic clutch, winch, front lockout hubs, posi-traction rear axle, dual exhaust, Dunlop RV Radial Rover tires 31 x 10.50 x 15 tires w/good tread. Bolted on roll bar that’s easily removed. Windshield is cracked, fuel level gauge don’t work, and exhaust has a leak on the left bank. Engine and seats came out of a 67 Mustang. New crossflow radiator, thermostat, and belts. Runs and drives great. There is a little rust under the RF fender at the mounting bracket which could be repaired or replaced. Street legal and it has collector plates. Title in hand.”
