Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The 1945 has the correct windshield and rear free floating hubs for a 1945 model. The other is likely later than 1945.

“1947 willys jeep CJ2A project or parts rig. No title.. It’s a mix of 45 through 47. The head is a 1945 Ford GPW. I took this in as a partial trade. #4 cylinder has a hole in it. Still worth saving IMO. Trans and tcase are there. Some of the engine stuff is missing. No seats. Thats how I got it. Axles and frame are in great shape. Tub needs some work but also worth saving. No title. Not parting and not separating. Ive found something else I would rather put my time and effort in to. They look great with the 1/4 ton trailers behind them or slammed into a rat rod. You could go in any direction with this.. Delivery available for a fee. 1500.00 or trade for IH, jeep or Squarebody vehicles or part”

“1947 Willys Jeep CJ 2a. Has a Hurricane F Head 134 out of a later CJ, hence the bump in the hood. The swap was probably done decades ago but seems to have been done well. Wiring has been gone through and headlights, high beams, brake lights and tail lights all work. Runs good and drives good but has some play in the steering. New military style seats and eBay special “Ahwoogah” horn. Clean Title. Not in a hurry to sell but will entertain offers”

“A complete body of restoration with over $10,000 in parts and services. Drive train was either replaced or rebuilt. Build was done for show purposes but it is absolutely off road capable. Suspension,exhaust,brake system,front and rear diffs,steering systems,etc were either replaced or rebuilt as needed. Paint has pinstripes on body,fenders and wheels. Engine was professionally rebuilt by local builder and has 78 miles on it. Custom oak panels overy both wheel wells and bed. Oak center console was added. The upholstery and carpeting professionally done. Custom steps added. A very nicely restored jeep with custom touches. Clean title”

New glass. Heater hoses. Clutch and pressure plate. Temp gauge. Battery and cable. Jeep starts, runs and drives and stops. I have receipts from all work done and the title in my possession. What does it need : wiring harness, brake system inspected, spring kit. Tires are cracked but hold air. This is a nice Jeep to cruise or climb mountains. what ever you like. I don’t need 4 Jeeps.”

“1947 Willy’s cj2a jeep, 4×4, super hurricane 4cyl, 3 speed with twin stick transfer case. All steel body. Has fold out windshield (also folds down. Has 2 bucket seats and a small removeae bench in the back. Runs, drives, is inspected. I have a roll bar and bikini top for it as well. Has an after market heater which works great (melt your ankle off) it’s an old cj so it goes 45mph tops, steering is wandery but manageable. Jeep has hand throttle option which is handy for parades or as a crude cruise control. Very cool driver quality cj2a . 13.500 possible trades try me. tractor with bucket and mower, pickup truck , hot rods etc”
