Not sure how much value is here. It’s listed as a 1943.

Looks like a solid build. If it is a 1942, there’s probably not much 1942 left on it.

“Great condition unknown miles changed out speedo”
UPDATE: As Craig points out, the trio of data tags suggest this is a 1946.

“1948 Willy’s Jeep with custom made roof. Title in hand, last on the road in 76, Motor is currently locked up, working on freeing it up then will work on getting it running”
The body has a few dings, but otherwise appears solid.

“The real deal 1947 Willys CJ2A. The jeeps in really good shape given it’s age. For the most part it is stock. It was converted to 12 volt, but I have the 6 volt generator. It starts right up and runs great. Bestop top for it, isn’t in the pictures. Clean title. Collector plates. Tow bar. New shocks and brakes. Tires in great shape. Re-cored the radiator recently. It’s a fun ride. I always wanted one of these since I was a teenager. After playing with it for 10+ years, it’s time to pass it on to the next dreamer.”
Seller ran into problems uploading pics, so contact for more pics via Craigslist.

(06/30/2019) Tom shared this oddity. This seems to be a late model DJ-3A body and windshield (design for a Koenig top) mounted on a (probably) CJ-2A chassis with a Meyer Half-top. That’s a combo I don’t think I’ve seen before.

“West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional example of this apparently unrestored original southern California example and extraordinarily well preserved 1947 Willys Jeep CJ2A in traditional US Military colors with it’s 134 L head 4 cylinder “Go Devil” engine and full soft top & bikini top.”
==============================
AD From January 2019:
“1947 Willeys JEEP. Amazing original in every aspect. Collector car!!! This is an original paint from 47 Jeep with every option from factory. It is in perfect running order and does not drip a drop of oil. It has California (gold) vintage plates. Everything included including books, spare tire, bed extender (worth $1000 alone) perfect canvas with clear clear plastic panels. Interior is perfect. All running gear like overdrive, 4 drive, high/low work as though new. THIS IS NOT AN OLD ARMY JEEP. This is a CJ or sold to the public jeep from 1947. All works, 6V, battery charger included but it start up first try. It want to be driven more than I get around to. Original pinstripe lettering (hand.) It has great tires, seats, floors. and addition accessories from factor live icebox and other details. This will not last.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4950.
Appears worth a look.
“New clutch and transmission rebuilt 2 years ago. Drove it last summer and hasn’t been out of the garage since. I no longer have room for this fun little jeep.
Seats and top in good shape.
Clean title and current tag.”
The frame rails don’t have any gussets. In my mind, as a former Badger State resident myself, the bigger question is …. there’s a Waldo, Wisconsin?
