(03/15/2015) This body is a blend of CJ-5 and flatfender. It looks well done.
“1947 CJ2A with 302 V8 and C4 transmission out of a ’71 Mustang. It has a Dana 18 transfer case, a Dana 44 rear axle and a 25 front with 5.38 gears and Torsen gear driven limited slips in both. The frame has been fully boxed and a second fuel tank has been added between the rails in the rear for a total of 20 gallons. It is lifted 3″ with 33×12.50×15 tires that have plenty of tread. There is a Warn 8274 winch on the front and a removable spare tire rack that holds two Jerry cans on the back, when the rack is off there are an additional two Jerry can mounts on the back of the tub. There is absolutely no rust and everything works right down to the fuel gauge, speedometer, blinkers, heater and wipers. It comes with a tow bar so you can haul it or drive it away, it handles just fine on the highway. The little jeep is in great running condition and is ready to hit the road or trail. ”

“Selling my 1948 Willys CJ-2A, I almost done with this project, purchased another motor for the vehicle because of a stress crack, therefore; re-did the crank with new bearings, new pistons with rings, new clutch with throughout bearing, waiting for a gasket for the rear end, had a minor drip, removed the gas tank and had it pickled, too many things I did to get it looking good, a little over 22,000 miles. Get a early jump on this vehicle, before she goes. I will NOT accept a text, either call me or email me regarding questions. No low ballers, I don’t need the money, it was a project I like doing, so don’t bother looking for the deal of the year.”

Nice early rare 1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A. First year civilian model. Hard to find Numbers matching, original engine, has all the original frame and body data tags still in place. Restored by previous owner who was Jeep enthusiast. Was a very rust free Jeep before resto. Previous owner sold due to illness. He owned it for many many years. Redone as from factory; correct wheels for the year, correct air cleaner system, marker and taillight placement, winged thumb bolts on windshield, vacuum wiper, 6-volt system, etc. I have a rear PTO, gear box and the drive shaft, plus a front, frame inserted winch for an additional cost.”

I have a whole list of parts for the cj2a and the wagoner still has a lot of good parts that could be sold. Both rigs have a clear title! “This is a running, well maintained, 1946 CJ2A that I’ve owned since 1968, and kept it garaged. The speedo has always worked since I’ve owned it and I believe mileage is accurate at 78,766. No front end shimmy. Title is clear. The doors are easily removed by pushing out the hinge pins and the rear upper gate removes like a storm window. the entire cab can be removed by unscrewing four large wing nuts around the back, and two j-Bolts holding the roof to windshield frame. Price includes lots of new and used parts.
EI: Clutch and pressure plates, front axels, U-Joints, Carburetor, differential (New still in cosmoline), windshield wiper vacuum motor, new in the box sealed beam headlight, complete military shop manual, tie rods and ends, water pumps and much more….”

Pretty stock jeep for a California jeep.
“This jeep is in very good condition. It has been garaged for 20 years. It has a new rebuilt transmission with a new clutch. Re-wired through out and a re-built generator. It has the original engine. It needs minor work. IE brake leak fluid at the drums. The ignition key was lost and one of the transmission covers leaks gear oil.
It has gun racks and the back removable seat. This jeep has not ran for 20 years and will need some TLC.”
Looks like it may have had some body work along the driver’s side. Only one pic at the moment.
