UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
It’s a project.
“What you are looking at is an original 1946 CJ2A Willys Jeep that has been painted like a military Jeep. The jeep is a project Jeep. It does not run or drive as of now. It’s fairly complete and the body is pretty solid. It will need floor patching or repair if you wanted to make it perfect. The sides of the body have no bondo on them and are very solid and pretty straight. All you see on the Jeep goes with the Jeep. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500.
The front frame rails have been lengthened.
“I have a ’47 jeep cj2 with Chevy 350, t-15 3 speed transmission, Dana spicer 20 transfer case and power steering, axles, and suspension from a later model cj. New BFG tires. Runs and drives but sometimes grinds out of reverse when backing up. It was previously tagged and inspected but they have expired. Looking to trade for 2010 and up Polaris RZR 800 and up or a Harley Davidson. I would also be interested in a multiple high end gun trade. Open to other offers also. Text preferred but you can call or email.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
Looks like the pair is priced at $3500. The 2A runs and the 3A doesn’t.
“I have two complete Jeep’s for sale. I would like to sell these as a pair. They are both partially restored and have new tires etc… I drove the 1947 quite a bit this summer, it ran great. Has been sitting in my shop the last couple of months and the last time I tried to start it, it would run for a while then die. I think the carb needs cleaned. The 1953 is complete but the engine is disassembled. They would be fun to tinker with this winter.”
Both are projects. The first is $5000 and the second $2000.
“1947 Willys Jeep runs and drives has a PTO winch, new top and bows, new tank, and other goodies. Solid jeep but does have some quarter panel damage. asking $5000. We do have a second 1947 jeep rolling chassis good body but has no motor or trans. asking $2000”

“I’m selling my basically stock 1948 willys cj-2A.
Original flathead engine rebuilt 2000 miles ago.
Originally axles
4 wheel drive works.
Soft top is very new and fits nice. Have soft doors but they need to be mounted.
It already has collector plates so no need for tabs ever again(it’s licensed as a horseless buggy)
It’s a fun jeep, extremely capable in 4wheel low and hilariously gutless in 2high but that’s honestly part of the fun and it’s only sixty horse power. I didn’t think I would get as much atention as I do when I’m driving it but people really like these old jeeps. Runs really good.”
UPDATE: Still Available

(11/20/2014) It’s rough.
“I have this 1948 jeep willys cj2a with tx title
I was trying to unlock the motor n seen the cylinder wall is cracked so it will need a engine or sbc 350 swap or Buick v6 I’ve seen on the Internet that’s what they do as a substitute.
All the original engine parts are accounted for on the table along with a fuel cell
The tow bar takes a 2 in tow ball and the tires hold air
I wanted to make a project out of it but have decided to cash out.”

Mike’s selling his project. The hardtop is unusual.
“For Sale a project I have lost interest in. I have a 1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A body/tub, front fenders, hood, grill and aluminum hardtop too…then I also have a brand new 2×4 steel tube frame, and running gear from a 1985 CJ7, 2.5 motor, D300 transfer case, front end, rear end, radiator, hanging pedals too, I just picked up a T5 5 speed transmission, a T18 Ford truck trans, and also the original T90 that went with the Willys originally.
