“Up for sale is my 1947 Willy’s CJ2a. It is awesome. Very fun, and my boys are going to be destroyed that we are letting it go. I have a ton of things on my plate at the moment, and the money could be used elsewhere. It has a clean title with Black and yellow California plates. It has a rare matching frame and body tags and number plates. It has the (more powerful and newer) F134 willy’s engine that runs great. Warn locking hubs, stock T90 transmission 3spd, full roll cage, front willy’s original seats, folding back seat with seat belts. It is a great jeep that ALWAYS gets thumbs ups and attention whenever we drive around town. Still some work to be done on it, but it can be enjoyed from day one. $3500 I don’t need to sell this so save the low ball offers. I won’t respond to them. Feel free to ask any questions.-Jeff”

(03/04/2014) It looks like this has been jacked up or has an spring over mod.

“My Jeep is in fair condition for it’s age. I’m pretty sure the clutch went out the last time I drove it. It should start with a fresh battery. I had just spent over $2000 replacing the entire brake system. The Jeep has been sitting for about 2 years. The registration is current, I have the pink slip in my possession.”

“This Jeep has been around in the family for years, has originals parts but outer body needs some work. Definitely a restoration project I would think, but everything still there. Is 4 wheel drive. It has 2-5 Gallon Gas Cans, Front mounted Winch, Soft cover with doors, Dual Gas Tanks, Oversize radiator, Center Mount double rifle Rack and Front row bar in and hitch in rear This would be great for someone who loves these kind of cars because they are collectibles. Has awesome engine, 327 bored over to 331, compression pistons 10 1/2 to 1, 8 cylinders, has hot rod engine, The jeep is mechanically sound. Low, low gears for climbing. “1948 cj2a jeep runs good drives but needs breaks. IS NOT STREET LEGAL. To make it street legal it would need turn signals, windshield wipers, and seat belts This didn’t come with any of the above and that’s why it doesn’t have them. It needs some body work but isn’t horrible, ive bought a lot of new parts for it to make it a trail runner ie…. bigger rims and tires but will come with originals as well, roll bars bikini top with everything needed to mount, fog lights brush guard, street legal windshield glass which has been installed, shackle lift kit new bushings for leaf springs, and im sure im forgetting some other parts. anyway would be a really nice and easy father and son project and once breaks are fixed and street legal then a nice daily driver(easy on gas) if not familiar with cj2a think WW era jeeps that’s what it looks like.”

(03/14/2014) It does not run.

” have a 1946 jeep (first year of consumer jeeps) that needs a restoration. It does not run and was parked for years as the clutch was sticking. It does roll and steer to move. The frame looks good and the body has had new metal welded in. The jeep has the original motor (flathead 4) and drive train (3 speed). It shows 13,000 original miles.These are getting more difficult to find to restore. I would like to trade it for an enduro bike, 4 wheeler, jeep wrangler, or maybe something else motorized. “Hi Everyone ! I’m selling my all stock ’47 Willys flat fender Jeep. 134F head 4 Cyl. Engine , 3 Spd. Tranny , 2 stick model 18 transfer case, stock front and rear ends, dual fuel tanks. Decent 31″ Wild Countrys on White Spokes. This is a pretty nice old Jeep that with about a weekends worth of work could be a driver. It has a clear Washington title and has collectors plates so no need to ever buy tabs again. It’s very complete Just needs a tune up , fresh gas , etc. It has a new complete rear brake job with seals , wheel cylinders , shoes , hardware , etc. Needs Battery and master cylinder installed (Comes with).
