$6000 for the jeep and $4000 for the winch. As best as I can tell, the winch looks WWII to me.
“Very nice 1946 Jeep Willys CJ2A 1st year for the civilian jeep with authentic WWII Braden Capstan winch. Runs great has 18,000 miles pretty much all original. Has sat in a barn for most of its life. Minimal rust nothing to worry about. 3 speed manual tranny. 4X4 works great. Comes with 2 tops and 1 set of doors. This jeep is a blast to drive you can fold the windshield down or leave it up. The winch is a fully operational and genuine WWII equipment. Asking $10,000.00 complete or will seperate if you just want the jeep or winch. $6,000.00 for the jeep and $4000.00 for the winch.”

Congrats to Hugh for completing his fiberglass build. Just in time for summer! Next on his plate is a M-151 Mutt project.
Hugh wrote, “Just got my fiberglass bodied cj2a back from my cousin who painted it. Chose olive drab because we figured if we scratched it off road it wouldnt break our hearts like a shiny paintjob would. Well i consider this jeep done so now we can start on the 48 cj2a with the m151 mutt drivetrain. That jeep is going to be an interesting project.”

It’s has a 4 cylinder gas engine, with a 4 speed manual transmission. The Jeep has no problems starting up and driving around. I have replaced the battery, terminal wires, distributor and wires, and other small items.
I also have the hard top to go with the Jeep.
Will need a brake refresh and some small odds and ends, but it is prefect weekend car as is.”
