“I have a 1946cj2a Willys jeep. It is licensed and insured/tagged. I use it in parades and on the farm to move my log splitter. It is not a show car/ I use it and drive it regularly. It is all orginal. I have upgraded to 12 volt and put a electronic distributer (no Points) other than that it is stock. It has a brand new complete rebuilt 12 volt starter. Like new tires. All lights work, all gauges work, no wipers (easy fix) just have not had time. I also have a original hard top that needs to be reworked, it has the doors also. A fresh reworked radiator. Runs good 50 miles per hour uphill down hill or flat land. E-brake works parking and brake lights work.The only thing wrong with this Willys is a leak in one seal on the transmission, I have to add transmission fluid twice a year. If you are interested let me know , might even trade for something? I have owned this jeep around 5 yrs and have a updated title off of the orginal. Mark just posted this over at sellajeep.com.  It’s listed as a 1951 CJ-2A, so either the year or model is wrong.

“This Jeep was used to pick up parts for a local garage. It has its last inspection sticker on the windshield. There are 45,300 original miles on the engine. It was restored by a certified auto mechanic. It has a new tub, brake system, five new tires. Seats were redone by a local upholstery shop—and the heater works!

There’s some value here.  The seller rightly points out the issue with the front frame rails.

“1946 Jeep more than just a parts Jeep. This Jeep was running about 5 years ago and I am currently getting it running again. The drive train and engine were fine and should still be. Good hood, fenders, tailgate gas tank. Had new brakes at that time. The rear tires are not for a Jeep. It comes with 4 original wheels with out tires. The tires and wheels that are on it now are just to move it around, but they will go with the purchase. Has been converted to 12 volt, with alt. The front end hit something hard and bent the frame horns where the bumper attaches, can be seen in one of the photos. Also has a original steering wheel and rear bumper included.”

“This is whats left of a 1948 Willys Jeep Model CJ2A. It runs (with a jump) as well as shift, all gears, high & low, front axle in & out. It has no brakes. The body is in very poor condition although the windsheild frame is salvagable. I put a rebuild carburator and head gasket on it to get it running. It has no tags, therefore, no papers. Unless you’re really motivated,”

(03/13/2012) This isn’t 4wd, but it looks like it has a good body and rollcage.  This appears to have a mb or gpw body.
