“1946 Willys CJ2A has a 1956 Chevy 265 v8 conversion complete with a WARN overdrive, one piece front tie rod, new shocks, and 1” body lift. It has a new wiring harness, brand new 31” tires and 15” wheels with matching spare, and custom winch bumper with winch and high lift jack. It also has new sour apple green metallic paint, bed liner interior, and new racing seats with harnesses. It still has the original brakes, but really needs a disc brake conversion. (06/15/2017) “I have my 48 CJ-2A for sale. I absolutely love this vehicle but just am not using it enough to have it sitting around. It has been upgraded to a 12 volt system and has an upgraded brake booster. It has a new carburetor, starter, and alternator, but everything else is seems to be original. I have it tagged and is street legal for daily driving.”
MY best guess is that this is a CJ-2A body atop a DJ-5 2WD chassis.
