Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This 1951 Jeep Willy’s has a ton of work done on it then made its way to the barn and hasn’t had any miles since. It had a new top, new motor, a bunch of work done to brake system, ford 289 v8, plus much more. It runs and drives like you would expect a 1951 Jeep to drive and is an absolute blast. “Classic Willys Jeep has a 2.8l V6, T90 3speed trans with newer transfer case and larger front and rear axcles. Has wide 36″ tires and alumin craragar rims. however tires are rotted and one is blown out. Also has the desirable fiberglass body. I purchased to fix up but due to property I live at being up for sale I have to let someone else do this project. Unsure of engine issues as it did not run when I purchased it. It does turn over. no water in oil or in radiator. Great project for father and son or for off roading or steeet wise.”

“Antique 1949 Willys Jeep CJ3A which has been extensively restored. It has a 4 cylinder L 134 flat-head engine, which has been completely rebuilt. New fiberglass body with black seats. Brakes, lines, shoes and cylinders are new. This Willys has a 12-volt, upgraded electrical system with an alternator and new battery. Many additional parts included.
This is a very rare model with PTO and hydraulic lift. Has a new exhaust system, custom wheels (white spoke steel) and tires. Doors, top and mirrors are all new as well as the polyethylene fuel tank. This is a great vehicle built for rough terrain or pleasure driving.”
The jeeps are in storage; models unknown. They are described as 1945 and up. These two pics show some of the parts.

The blinkers and seat belts have been added to increase the safety of the vehicle, especially when driving the grandkids around.
This interesting build may have damage and bondo on the passenger rear quarter panel (see last pic). No description provided.

Price dropped to $5800. Year changed to 1950. It lacks drain holes and a tailgate, so either this is an aftermarket body (fiberglass?) or its had work.
