“This is a 1953 Jeep cj3b that my dad bought in 1961. It has been garaged all the time only driven in the summer and put up on blocks in the winter. There is no rust on the body or frame. A Warn overdrive has been added and Warn hubs. The seats have been reupulstered with new fabric and foam. The top is in good condition and nearly new. It has been converted to 12volt and the spare tire moved to the rear. The original tire mount and 6 volt parts go with it.”

(06/22/2021) Given the front clip, this might be a 3B chassis, though the Parkette body is a low-hood version.
The seller is correct about Paul Parker and the body. But, I believe this is the first version of this particular style that I’ve seen. It lacks the side stripe, has fender extensions, has a little different PARKETTE design on the back, has an extra wide lip around the rear, and looks like it has a side step. Very interesting.

“For sale is a 53 willys that has been sitting for around 7 years behind a church in Newburgh. I acquired it as a project but in my current situation am unable to give it the time and love it deserves. As far as I know it did run when it was parked but obviously doesn’t run now. It is a 69 year old New York vehicle so it has its fair share of rust but has solid bones given the state it had been left in. I am happy to entertain any offers within reason including trades.
