Need that excuse to visit the Virgin Islands? Here it is. A CJ-3B marooned on a remote island just waiting for you to save it! If you do go, rent a boat and head to the British Virgin Islands and visit Virgin Gorda to swim and climb amongst the boulders. When I visited in 1987 only 2 other people were there; we ran the boat onto the soft sand beach and started swimming. I think I need to return with Ann . . .

(06/02/2013) This may deserve a closer look.
“I’m selling my 1960 Willys/Jeep CJ3B; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeep_CJ#CJ-3B
I’ve recently had a new exhaust system installed, purchased a new top, and had the seats reupholstered.
It runs and drives great, and shifts through all gears (including 4WD H/L) perfectly. It has rust spots on the body. I have a clear Kansas title, and can be tagged as an antique, which costs a lifetime fee of around $40 in Kansas. I believe it has just over fifty-thousand miles on the odometer.
I really hate to have to pass her on, but I’ve got too many vehicles and need to make space. That being said, I may be interested in trading for some Hunting/Camping land, a nice recreational lot, or other property trades.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500

“I’m just seeing what kind of interest there is on my Kaiser 3B Jeep. It’s the flat fender “high hood”model, like a willys. It needs restored. Frame is in great shape, it will run, nothing is locked up, But it needs a body kit to replace the old tub, fenders, and hood…the grill is the only good body part. Any questions, email me. No trades. Has title”

“Up for sale is 1954 Willy CJ3B high hood. I have owned the Jeep a couple of years and absolutely love it. Unfortunately, I have to sell off a few hobby cars to raise some funds. My loss is your gain. Please see the below description of the Jeep and contact me with any questions.
Body The tub of this Jeep was replaced by its previous owner with a brand new Willys-Overland tub. This means that there is absolutely no rust anywhere. The windshield frame has numerous small holes from the snaps of various tops being mounted over the years. They would be very easy to weld up and have the frame powder coated. The Jeep has windshield wiper motors and arms, though they are not wired. I do not know if the motors work or not. Paint on this Jeep looks really good, though there are a few scratches and scrapes. This is a driver, not a show queen but it does look great. There is a really neat seat mounting system that was built and it incorporates two cup holders as well as a solid mounted ammo box that serves for center console storage. The passenger seat flips up to allow access to the back and also to under-seat toolbox. All of the gauges are Mallory brand and all seem to work well. I do have a Tuffy rear seat with the lockable storage box underneath that will be included for the By-It-Now option only. I do not have the keys for this lock however. Again, the Tuffy back seat and under seat storage box is not included in the regular auction, only the Buy-It-Now.
Only one pic provided.

“1962 Willys Jeep, body looks pretty straight, tires flat, motor???? rest ????. Title in hand.”
The Museum of Alaska Transportation & Industry is located in Wasilla, Alaska. It’s a far drive for most people to see the museum, but it does have a rare CJ-3B Fire Jeep. I think that’s as good of a reason to visit Alaska as any other!
Ron alerted me to the museum and shared these photos he took. Note the CJ-7 Mail Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler, which I think looks pretty good. Thanks Ron!
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3600.

“I think it is a 1956. For parts only. No title. Some rust in floors but easy fix.pictures tell the story. Comes with Omix rear quarter panel and front quarter panel for passenger side. Easy fix.Drive train complete. Does not run. Trans appears to shift in and out of gears. Engine appears locked up but seems to be all there. Somewhere along the line someone has loosened various components on the engine but they appear to be all there. That is what I know. I bought it to fix up but found a runner so I am on to the next one. Happy to answer any more ??? Shipping to be paid by buyer no matter what the calculater says Buyer Resonsible for Shipping or local pic up.”
It’s a project.
“Here is a heavily modified old willys. Just about everything on it has been upgraded. Obviouslt the whole rear has been replaced with a tubular cage. I made it to offer great rollover strength but still mimic the classic body lines of the original willys, hence the curved door openings and the opening to fit the original willys tailgate.. The suspension uses Wider YJ leaf springs all around. reverse shackles up front and a 3/4 elliptical system in the rear, which allows for major flex. The old screw type steering was replaced with a heavy duty Saginaw box and beefed up custom linkage all over. All 4 wheels have been converted to disc brakes with stainless lines. the drivetrain however I kept stock, first, because of the nostalgia factor of keeping it willys, Second, because it has proven itself. Back when this was a normal jeep I could plow tons of snow and not slow it down at all or drive down the freeway at a fair speed. I have not started he engine in a few years but I’m sure it will crank over.
As I said, this is a project so it needs finished. Off the top of my head, it needs driveshafts put in, sheetmetal installed as the floor and sides (optional) brake lines run, pedals installed, amongst a few other things.
I am losing out big time asking what I am for it, but we all know you never get what you put into them. I just need to clear out some projects. You can call or text me at 4 four O-31 nine- O 47 O”
Well, it looks pretty good from the front . . .
“Not sure of the year, was running and driving 5 years ago. Sitting outside for the past 5 years. Clutch seems to be froze up. Rolls ok. Selling As Is and As Pictured. If it’s still listed, it’s still available. I delete soon as an item sells. Any questions, drop an e-mail. Thanks”
