Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Restored 1953 CJ3B Jeep for sale. Engine, Transmissions, Differentials were rebuilt. Body work, primed, and painted. No Rust. Upgraded to 12 volt system with 12 volt generator and lights. Has signal lights, stock heater(12 v motor), and electric windshield wipers. Has 15″jeep wheels with radial tires. Also include meat top frame and doors for canvas top.”
Jim’s sold and shipped a variety of jeeps over the past decade. I imagine the cut hood and lower grill was meant to add visibility, but I can’t say for sure.

I’ve owned this Jeep for nearly 5 years with no plans to ever sell it but with a family of 4 (+3 dogs) I never drive it. On top of that we’re building a house at 8100 ft on the mountain and without a garage I can’t stand to see it sit outside anymore. This Jeep was professionally built, no “hack work” on this rig.
