Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. These two were part of a collection for sale in late 2017.
1. CJ-2A $1000: I have a Willys Jeep, flat hood, flat 4 cylinder, mostly complete. NO title but can give bill of sale. $1,000 cash or May trade for something.
2.1960 CJ-3B $1500: “I have a 1960 Willys Jeep. Tall hood which means the inline 4 cylinder. Complete I believe but rough. Clear KY title. Please no calls or texts after 11pm. May trade for something but prefer cash or cash and bang.”

“I HAVE A 1962 WILLYS CJ3B JEEP TUB. THE COMPLETE FRONT FLOORS AND ALL THE HAT CHANNEL UNDER THE FRONT SECTION HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH ALL NEW METAL. THE REAR FLOOR PANEL HAS BEEN REPAIRED WITH FIBERGLASS AT SOME POINT AND COULD BE USED AS IS BUT I HAD PLANNED ON REPLACING IT. THE RISER PANEL FROM THE FRONT FLOOR TO THE REAR FLOOR THAT RUNS UNDER THE SEATS HAS BEEN CUT OUT AND NEEDS FABBED UP. I HAVE ACQUIRED ANOTHER CJ3B TUB THAT I WAS GOING TO USE AS PARTS TO REPAIR THE RED TUB. YOU WILL GET BOTH CJ3B BARE TUBS WITH THE TITLE FOR THE RED 1962 TUB. Listed as a 1956, this jeep has serial number of 454 GB2 making it a 1954 model. It does not currently appear on Derek’s 3B VIN list.
