Dan spotted this one. With a rebuilt motor and tranny, this might be a good utility driver.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $800
The frame has been powder coated and most everything is there, but the seller claims this is a “mystery jeep”? I’m gonna bet the seller also doesn’t have a title for this. This just sounds a bit sketchy on the face of it. I’m gonna guess this is a late 1950s/ early 1960s CJ-5 or CJ-3B?
“mystery jeep for sale. I have all the parts you need to put it all together except motor! The frame has been powder coated, brand new springs, shocks, tires and rims!!”
UPDATE: This is back on eBay
(08/15/2012) Here’s an unusual CJ-5. It appears to have been modified by the same people/person who created these other modified jeeps, an observation I’m basing on the top. Given the jeep is from Hesperia, there’s a very good change it is the same group. Note that the jeep was stored for more than three decades.
“Here’s my 1957 jeep, it was stored from around the late 70’s till 2010, still has the original california black plate, runs and drives great!!
paint, interior, and engine change where done around 1960, was owned and customized by a california car customizer in the fresno area
engine is a all stock 1960 283, has the original 4bbl carb, power pack heads, generator with power steering drive, runs perfect, very nicely installed, looks factory
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2300.
Some different paint might really help this cheap jeep.
“Price reduced, dont let a good deal like this pass you up. Make a reasonable offer.
1956 Willys Jeep in good shape, 4 cylinder 3 speed 4×4 (50,000 original miles). Everything works great on this jeep and it is pretty clean . Willing to trade for older chevy stepside in good condition or T-bird super coupe. The Jeep registration is current and just bought a new battery, it’s fun to drive –
UPDATE: Was priced at $7500.**SOLD**
This looks nice. Shouldn’t this also have a Tuxedo Park plates on the hood?
“1963 Jeep CJ-5 Tuxedo Park Trim Package in rare Indian Ceramic Paint. This jeep is in very good shape for its age. Spent most of its life in California where is was in storage for 30+ years. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500.
(05/08/2012) This nicely stock jeep includes a rear PTO with a winch. It has an older top that looks in good shape. I’m pretty sure that isn’t factory shag carpet though ….
“1957 JEEP CJ-5 Willys….. 4×4 … lock out hubs…. 4 cylinder….3 speed … freshly rebuilt engine…. new master cylinder, new rear wheel cylinders, new brake lines…
factory PTO and rear winch…
Full black soft top …. rear seat….. $5,500..”

Both of these run, too.
“Both have 4 cylinders standards both run two plow trucks 1200 for the pair.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Here’s a nicely stock CJ-5. I haven’t seen a chrome rim around the spare tire like this one has. Was that an option?
“971 Jeep CJ-5, 37,726 original miles
(not a rebuild, this is ORIGINAL)
Original Buick V6 engine
Two tops (full soft top & bikini top)
Locking Axles (2 wheel to 4 wheel)
Great solid vehicle. Runs extremely well. This is not a show vehicle but not far off. Color is forest green. Interior is forest green and black. Here’s another CJ-5 that’s got the Jeepster Commando grille.
“1957 Willys CJ Jeep. Oldy but goody. Original 4 cyl engine -runs good. Electric fuel pump. 12v alternator. May need a starter and a clutch before long. I have replaced the old split rims and put on radial tires. Also have replaced original lock outs with new Warn lock-outs. Use it as it is or would make a great project to restore or use for parts. Phone 308 three four 8 twenty-two 0 5.”
Buz spotted this one. It is a no-reserve auction on a beautiful, stock CJ-5. You’ll want to look at the pics of this one. Compare the picture of it to the brochure below in the next post, too.
“Selling for my computer inept friend. This 1960 Willys Jeep CJ5 is in Beautiful Original Condition, probably the nicest original CJ5 in existence. Totally Original Paint, Upholstery, Engine, Miles, Everything is ORIGINAL. 21055 miles. Clear Title. Original Spare Tire is not shown in the pictures but is included in the sale. The tires are believed to be the originals and are in good shape with normal wear and no weather checking. The Jeep has been stored in a carefully climate controlled building and has seen just enough use in the last many years to keep everything functional and working well. The Jeep starts easily, runs perfectly, goes down the road as it should, and it needs nothing. The Hardtop appears to have never been removed since new. All fluids are fresh and the battery is new. Look closely at the pictures, they tell the story about this vehicle better than words, more detailed pictures are available if you request them via email. The Jeep shows very minimal use and wear with no damage or repairs. All sheet metal is in oustanding condition and the only corrosion is very minimal, located near the tailights on both sides, the pictures show this clearly. Floor pans, fenders, quarter panels hood, undercarriage, were undercoated early in this CJ’s life and have been remarkably preserved. There are no hidden problems, repairs, or any funny business … This jeep is the real thing, a near museum quality original, unmolested survivor.”
This one just seems so sad. There should be some value here.
“1962? willys jeep. to restore or for parts. 4 wheel drive and lots of rust. call 920 279 0639. can be seen at 5086 IslandView Dr bring a trailer.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $200
Looks like a good price.
“There are a few light cracks on the front end, the lights are functional.
Asking $200 or best offer”
No pics provided. Sounds like there might be value here.
“I am cleaning up quickly and thuroughly around here to sell our house and will give you all my Jeep stuff for $1200 ! There is basically 2 flat fender bodies pretty much complete and a CJ5 body complete and a rolling lifted Cj5 chassis with 34″ Swampers . These are reccomended as Bush buggies or parts . There are no tags with the Willys Jeeps but there is tags with the Cj5 although we have lost the papers . It was never in our name and we won’t be wasting our time on that but it was last registed in Langely I think so you can do it and put it in your own name easilly .
I will try to post a pic or two later but if you’re interested you’ll bring a trailer and load up regardless of what pics I might post .”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500.
Thanks Sonny for this great find. It is a screaming deal that shouldn’t last long. That’s a really rare setup.
“This is the coolest little Jeep post hole digger.
Needs a started
tires need to be filled.”
This runs and drives with an operating trencher and sports duallies.
“1958 CJ 5 Willys Jeep with a trencher attachment that was factory made for jeeps back before the industry started making trenchers for smaller jobs.
Back then it was either a shovel and pick or large diggers. This trencher fit the bill for the smaller jobs.
This unit is in complete working order and runs great. The odometer reads 4400 miles and I believe it.
The Huricane-4 motor runs smooth and does not smoke.
Also has duals on the back that are made for jeep and never seen one of these with a cab.
Price is OBO at $6500.00 Please only serouis inquirers. 314-952-two nine 61”
I know I’m not supposed to be posting today, but Ann and Kasia, my daughter, were running errands when they spotted this CJ-5. So, they gave chase and flagged him down. I wonder if the guy thought he’d get jeep-jacked? On the other hand, maybe it isn’t two often two beautiful women flag him down? Either way, they cornered their prey and shot the picture. No wonder my beautiful bride is a permanent part of the eWillys Team! 🙂
UPDATE **SOLD** Was $1800
The price looks good on this plow jeep.
