Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. One has no engine . I have 3 tubs and all the finders and hoods. Everything to make two good jeeps. And a lot of extras that go with the bundle. I will not part any out, Its a package deal so don’t ask. I have the Fl title for the Postal Jeep and bill of sale for the Willy’s Jeeps.”

“I have a 1973 Jeep Dispatcher That was used by USPS as a postal delivery jeep till 2008. I’ve driven this reliably for a long time. The Motor runs really good. It has a rebuilt head, carburetor, new points, new spark plugs, and a rebuilt transmission pump. It has the 232ci AMC straight-six and a Chrysler torque-flite transmission and it all works great. I love this car but I’ve recently bought a new car so it has to go. First $2000 takes her home and I’m FIRM on that price.”

“1977 right hand drive custom mail Jeep. Truck was given a complete makeover just a little over a year ago. Plumb Crazy Purple with painted hotrod flames. Interior was completely bedlined and dodge caravan seats added for comfort. All new rubber on all windows with tint and new windshield. Body was completely blasted to bare metal. New brakes all around and a gm power booster added. This does have the favorable inline 6 and automatic transmission. Great around town cruiser. Max speed is 55mph. “Took out of service a few years ago it needs Front brakes and fuel sending unit. Been sitting in my garage for about 3 years and ran great when parked for repairs. It’s got all new steering joints, Lost interest after that. Three speed in-line six”

“My loss is your gain! It needs transmission work. The shop says a rebuild would be about $600 (if I R & R). I don’t feel like it right now. I’d rather move on with my next project. It’s $1000 firm (if I can’t get that, I’ll do the tranny and sell for $2000+. You pick up (tow or trailer).
I bought this three years ago with the intent to try it out this summer as a “retirement job” but family circumstances and increased hours at my other job have cancelled that plan. I owned it just long enough to make a lot of little fixes (lube, oil, added a radio & antenna, shocks, flashing yellow light, wiper blades, installed a window washer, fixed the horn, replaced exhaust manifold gasket, new ignition switch, plugs and wires, air filter, fuel filter, tranny filter & fluid, pcv, rebuilt carb., new fan belt, coolant flush and fill with new thermostat, – and probably a couple of other things I can’t remember right now….

This is a great running jeep. Good on gas, good tires, has a nice mail tray inside that holds up to 6 trays? New paint, new windshield, all new window and door gaskets. Floor boards replaced, 12v phone jack, 2 fans.
Flashing light on top as well as strobes on the back. Picture shows strobes and flashers on at dusk, strobes flash left to right. This baby is route ready

Has brand new humvee or hummer seats. Jeep has been rhino lined inside and out. Has Yakima roof rack basket. All lights blinkers wipers and heater works. Right hand drive is definitely a unique driving experience. It is automatic so anyone can drive it. Jeep is 2wd Great cheap car for someone that needs transportation.”
