This is unusual (I think?)
“Here is a vintage 1961 Willys Motors Kaiser Frazier Fleetvan Delivery Van blue print. The blue print is in very good condition. It measures 36 by 24 inches.”

Here’s a Fleet Van ad from the April 12, 1963, issue of the Lakeland Ledger.
======================
Here’s an ad for the FJ-3A that was on eBay.
Year/Era: 1961
Origin: Print Advertisement
Condition: Very Good
Size: 7.25″ x 10″
Here are two FJs for sale. They aren’t in the best shape. Many other items, too. The auction takes place at 9181 Cedar Lake Rd, Pinckney, MI, October 6, 2012.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
This is a good look at an FJ-3A brochure. It is 8.5 x 4 Folded , 17 x 8 Unfolded.
From http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2009/07/bizarre-stuff.html comes this rare fleetvan photo from 1974. It shows Ron Elizada in front of a 1962 FJ-3 Fleet Van.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500
There’s at least a little value in parts. See all the contact info in the link below.
“Shows some rust but still has restoration potential.”
UPDATE: Was on eBay. **SOLD**
Bill unearthed this from eBay. The Genius Sno Balls FJ-3 Truck is for sale. It lacks a motor. It also doesn’t steer.
“Custom built snow cone truck with Southern Snow shaved ice machine, freezer, roof a/c, custom 20″ wheels & tires. This truck does not have an engine nor does is steer. It is an enclosed snow cone trailer that needs to be trailered to events. Very light weight. Plugs into 30 amp 110v electrical plug. Turns heads at all events!!! $9995 FIRM! ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was listed at $2800
A reader contacted me after investigating this FJ. Supposedly this is all fixed up, runs great, and looks beautiful. The only things missing are the VIN, the pink slip and the title. Eventually, after the reader noted that, the seller offered to halve the price.
Does anyone recognize this vehicle? Could it be a little hot? Or, maybe the seller was just desperate to sell it.
BTW, if anyone knows of any FJs in California, let me know. I have a potential buyer.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
This was a former ice cream truck.
“I Have A jeep Ice Cream Truck for Sale Call William At (760)459-3758 Only serious Call Asking $3500 Or OBO.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Glenn forwarded this. I think a piece of the glass is good .. lol.
“Absolute sale NO RESERVE! No extra fees. I have most of a 1963 Jeep FJ-3 Fleetvan. Although missing the back it is a rare vehicle perfect for a parts vehicle. It is a parts vehicle. There is no title or registration to this. The vin plate is still attached to the Van with a dry cheap white paint coating it. I used my finger nail to expose the numbers. The steering, suspension and brakes for the front appear to be all there. The motor and transmission are there but I am not sure of their condition. The back of this Fleetvan is missing. The Postal Code is P.O.D-6-2-8208 and the manufacture Vin Code is 14955. The Jeep FJ-3 Fleetvan was a compact delivery van manufactured by Willys Motors and Kaiser-Jeep from 1961 to 1965. This FJ-3 is equipped with the F-134 Hurricane engine that is a 4 cylinder F-Head. Borg-Warner Automatic it looks like. The FJ-3 is only 135 inches long and is rated for 1000 pound payload. If you know of somebody that has one of these, PLEASE let them know so they can have a chance to get a parts Van. I’m sure they will appreciate that. Sold As is with no waranty or returns of course. I have jacks and stands to help load this up.”
UPDATE II: See the latest — The Van is headed West.
From August, 2011: Glenn recognized the Willys Van for sale. Even more impressive, he found a brochure for one! Well done! He bought the Sales Folder off eBay about a year and a half ago. Mfg. by Plaza Motors, Inc. Englewood, NJ and was Willys-Overland Factory Approved.
Based on the emails between Colin and Glenn, there were at least three groups of Willys-Overland Delivery Trucks produced:
1) One group was produced during or just prior to WWII (as seen below)
Here is a 1942 Panel Delivery Truck:
2) One group was produced during post WWII and pre 1950, which appears to include the Willys Van owned by Mike. The brochure provided by Glenn also appears to be related to this second group.
3) One group was produced between 1951 and 1953, based on these serial numbers.
The numbers below are for post 1950 FJs. This one appears to be a pre-1950 FJ. We are still awaiting a serial number.
1951 FJ 451 GC1 10001— none
1953 FJ 452 GC2 10001—10065 65 built
1954 FJ454 GC2 10001—10012 12 built
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6950.

“Awsome shop truck, 1963 Willys/Jeep postal van a recent build with a great running SB Chev and turbo trans, Narrowed 8″ rearend, Front disc break conversion and Aluminum radiator. as well as New front and front side and door glass. Starts right up and purrs like a healthy 300lb kitten, runns down the road cool and collected even in the Arizona heat. The body and patina paint are original to the 1969 paintjob placed on her by AJ himself, this is no fake. Has some rattles you would expect from a nearly 50 yr old stepvan but a little attention and Dynomat would cure most of these, don’t let the pics fool ya this thing is small on the stepvan scale with only an 80 inch wheelbase it is short, narrow and tall. You can check out a video of me flying down the freeway at 70mph… Give me a holler if interested. $14,500.00 OBO.”
This looks pretty rough.
“For Sale: 1964 Jeep FJ-3A Fleet Van 4 cyl 3spd 2X4 has title very rare $700.00 call 660-287-6618”
UPDATE: Was $3500. SOLD
“Up for sale is a Jeep postal Fleetvan and included is a parts car. This Fleetvan is from California and is virtually rust free. The F head 4 cyl engine starts easily and runs smoothly. The automatic transmission shifts properly. It is not drivable due to no functioning brakes. The previous owner removed the glass and some trim to do a re-paint and then did not follow through. The grille has since been reinstalled. I have most of the glass, however some is broken. Otherwise, this Fleetvan is approx 90% complete. There is however a parts car included that has the items that may be missing. The parts car is a “cut in half” unit that is a complete forward unit. Also included that is not pictured is a rear dorr assy and rear bumper. This would be a fairly easy restoration of a hard to find Jeep. Both vehicles are being sold on a bill of sale because there are no titles. They are located in Windsor,Pa which is close to York,Pa.”
UPDATE: SOLD.
“Extremely rare 1962 FJ3A Jeep. Serious inquiries only. One of 46 FJ3A’s produced in 1962. Originally the laundry truck for nuns at a private girls’ college near Toledo. I’ve owned it since the ’70’s. Runs and looks great. Garaged and stored for years but driven summers to Cruise-ins. So ugly…it’s cute.”
UPDATE: Was listed at $1000. **SOLD**
