“Listing for a friend. Not my jeep. M38 running jeep serial number 66857 May 1952. Asking $5000. Contact owner at [hidden information]. Located in Alabaster, Al. I looked at the jeep and it is very solid and practically no rust. After consulting other jeep experts we believe it has a early reproduction M38 tub, but these early tubs did not have the cowl battery box or ax/shovel indents in the tub. Jeep comes with over $600 worth of new parts including a CJ wiring harness, manuals and new windshield glass. Would make a great parade jeep, 12 volt, she thinks the brakes were replaced? I did see new brake hoses. Jeep was in the process of being restored up to about 3 weeks ago.”
Includes a trailer.

S”elling my dream project. Tough times require tough decisions. This is a 1952 M-38 Willys Jeep. 4WD miracle. RUNS AND DRIVES, doesn’t stop great. Brand new clutch. Comes with extras, and a $50 gift card to the Jeep parts store I never got to use! Serous inquiry only, please no tire-kickers. Almost all original. Started life as a Korean war jeep, then went on to be used for the fire dept in Portland. You can see the OD green under the red FD paint. Very cool and nostalgic. Email me with any questions you have, I’ll be happy to answer”
This is a combination build of an M-38 body atop a 1969 CJ-5 chassis, including the use of the single lever transfercase.

“This is an Exclnt condtn Korean Era Army Jeep Fully restored. I have had it insured since day one. Ive owned this jeep for about 3 years, and I have lots of paper work on it. In have a Tag on it, a License Plate, its a Antique tag, very low cost. It been restored from the ground up, has military tires, in like new condtn. Mostly original Parts, original windshield , I took it out for a spin a few days ago, put air in the tires, first time in over a year. I have and continue to start this jeep every 6 day. A month ago I took it out for a 40 miles country drive, such fun, lots of honks, heads turning.
This M-38 is listed as a 1952, but the plate indicates it had a DOD of March 1951 jeep.

“1952 Willys M38 Jeep/ I am the third owner of this outstanding Willy’s/Overall condition exterior and interior is excellent/ NO CANCER/1000 miles on professional rebuilt L head original engine/ I had my shop restore it about 10 years ago. Always starts, runs smooth, doesn’t leak anything, dual 12 volt batteries, like new Bestop vinyl cab with doors and large zippered rear door, drop down tailgate, Jerry can with carrier, spare tire with carrier, always garaged, 8,000 lb Warn winch with remote, all gauges and lights work (sometimes the fuel gauge can be intermittent), military style tires are 95%, roll bar, heater that will keep you warm. Fold down back seat. I bought this Willy’s from the farmers family that bought it from the military. He parked it in his shop and I parked it in my shop. This was a western Washington vehicle which means no road salt or chemicals. As you can see in the pics, this is a very sweet M38 owned and used by adults. No teenybopper hack job here”

“1952 Willy’s M-38 for sale. It has a 3 speed with a high-low transfer case and a flathead 4 engine. I’ve had it for about 3 years and haven’t driven it much. I actually used it to plow snow a few times. It’s in rough shape, but wouldn’t take too much to make it nice. Even when not running for over a year, it fires up right away. The engine needs some tuning, but I think it’d run well with some TLC.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $6500.
(02/29/2020) Runs and drives.
