“This 1952 Willys M38 Jeep is in great condition restored and has its original body. The fire extinguisher, winch, radio seats, water jug, canvas roof and seats, rims, cosmetics, and engine are all original and have had minor tune ups to maintain there beauty. There were about 45,000 of the jeeps made during the Korean War and they are fun to drive and awesome to inspect. When I drive it everyone looks and is intrigued by its essence and cool looks. Please feel free to contact me any time with questions. Please don’t bid if you are not seriously interested about purchasing This vehicle. You must be 18 years or older to bid. Warranty: Unless stated otherwise, this vehicle is being sold ” as is, where is””

The windshield on this 2A was a surprise. That could be a pretty rare windshield, though it appears to be a CJ-3A rather than a M-38 windshield. This also has a rear PTO.

“1951 Willys M38 VIN: NA manual transmission title : clean
The early production1951 M38 Military Jeep that is for sale has the original reconditioned body and drivetrain. The frame-off restoration is documented and NOS parts were used. This Jeep is not comprised of a pile of parts from other Jeeps. The sheet metal is beautiful, no repair panels or bondo/filler. Other details: 24 volt system, winter top, working wipers, scabbard, back seat, cuno filter, original data tags, and deep water fording. I never had the Jeep stenciled therefore it is a clean slate for the next owner. The meticulous restoration was completed 15 years ago therefore the patina is perfect. Clean PA title. ” M38 1951 Military Jeep/Converted to look like a Willys WW2 Jeep
WORKS GREAT NO PROBLEMS !!!!
This is the perfect Jeep for the WW2 reenactor or someone who wants a dependable vehicle for parades or for 4×4 mudding.
I was told this is a rare Jeep as not many were made. Compared to the Willys WW2 Jeep.
This vehicle is a Willys 1951 M38 Military Jeep with a repro grill, hood, and windshield and new canvas to make it look like a Willys WW2 jeep has black out lights on dash, rarely used since reconditioned.
Gas tank has been relined so no rust, battery has been converted so its modern 12 volt not vintage, fuel pump runs great carburator has been rebuilt, new metal gas line, new distrubutor, new radiator, new tires no wear cylinoid starter was put on it so it starts right up.
Canvas alone is worth $1000.00 you get the top and windshield cover from Beechwood canvas .
The M38 was faster more robust than the willys and can 4×4 better. The transmission is better too.
It was rebuilt painted and has turn signals added so you can drive around safely. No rust inside and out.
Other mechanical things were done to it to make it run flawlessly.
It was redone electronically so it functions like a modern car you really can’t tell the differnce when you look at the engine unless your a jeep fanatic.
The points were taken out and replaced by a computer chip for faster start up and less tune ups.”
